Wendell Pierce Listed As J. Jenks In ‘Breaking Dawn Part 1′ On IMDb Website!

When Summit Entertainment announced more supporting cast in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, actor Wendell Pierce was one of them.  However, his role in the last two Breaking Dawn films was not listed.  We all suspected Wendell would be playing the Cullen’s attorney J. Jenks (in an interview, Wendell would not say who is playing, but that he was NOT a vampire nor a werewolf. LOL!).  Well, IMDb has listed Wendell Pierce as J. Jenks in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 confirming it!

J Jenks is an unscrupulous lawyer who also deals in illegal documents. He provides the Cullen family with forged birth certificates, drivers licenses and passports etc to enable them to live their immortal lives. Although he doesn’t know they are vampires he is aware of their longevity. He has a cautious relationship with the never changing Jasper, who negotiates with fear. He is described as overweight and sweating profusely, obviously nervous of any encounters with the Cullen family; although with Bella he has a growing fondness preferring to make future transactions with her. She visits him to arrange papers for Jacob and Renesmee to escape the Volturi in Breaking Dawn

Now here is what’s interesting, Wendell is not listed in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2.   Bella goes to J. Jenks when she is a vampire, right?  So, will we see vampire Bella in Breaking Dawn Part 1?    Maybe he’s just not listed YET in Breaking Dawn Part 2…..but what would J. Jenks be doing in Part 1?  Attending the wedding?

What are your thoughts?

I just want to say…… I KNEW HE WOULD PLAY J. JENKS!  WOO HOO!

    I’m with you, totally confused by him being in Part 1, but you know how M.R. does it. She changes what she wants when she wants LOL. I’m glad I’m hearing about this now & not when I’m looking at the movie

    No, Angelo Renai was listed as the minister on IMDb. That’s what I thought at first too though.

    I wonder if he’s just a Japanese vampire, family friend to the Cullens?

    I don’t think he will appear in Part 1. Because many other actors who play the international vampires are also included in the same list….

    As long as he’s not a “Waylon” or any other insignificantly indulged character, I’m all for it lol

    I didn’t imagined J.Jenks like that, i thought about someone like Danny DeVito.But i am confused too, him being in the 1st Part.

    IMDb gets it wrong so many times. I am sure that J. Jenks is going to be playing in the second movie and not the first. I watched an interview with Bill Condon from Comic Con and he said that the first movie ends right after Bella has Nessie. She isn’t a vampire until the second part. They got it wrong. They always do.

    Oh and why do people keep saying that he isn’t what they imaged he would look like? I don’t know about you but I never imagined Bella to look like Kristen Stewart or Rob like Edward. I pictured Bella as someone who doesn’t look as pretty and Edward with the red hair. So, I think it is all good. I think Wendell is a wonderful actor. He’ll nail it.

    I do not believe that Mr. Jenks will be in Part 1, unless as you say he would be attending the wedding.  However, upon listening to Kristen’s interviews she states that she does not become a vampire until Part 2 so I believe that they just left his name out by mistake again.  Unless they listed him wrong in Part 1 and meant it to be listed in Part 2.  Thanks for the photo.  It’s nice to see who will portray the attorney.

     I don’t remember a Japanese vampire in BD either!  I think he’s a character Melissa Rosenberg created.   Yeah.

    so i imagined someone a little lighter skin and heavier weight but this guy will do just fine! i didn’t think rob was going to be the edward and there he is.. the most famous of all celebrities :D

    I was re-watching the SWATH panel and at some point Kristen said that she broke her thumb the time the was shooting BD! That’s why she was wearing that splint back in winter, and I thought it was just a sprain…

    I agree with the mod that he was only supposed to be in Part II when Bella was already a vampire.   It’s her first interaction with him.   It could just be a typo of some sort.

    I doubt they will give us vampire Bella in part 1. The best way to end part 1 is when Bella opens her eyes as a vamp for the first time. They have to keep us hungry until part 2

    IMDb is not always right or up to date. No way would he be in part one. It will be interesting to see him be J Jenks like in the book.

    I agree with you. I never imagined that Kristen was Bella and Rob was Edward…never had a clear picture of them…just the hair, eyes etc etc. In fact I never had a real person in my mind reading the Twilight books. I think this guy looks like an awesome J.Jenks. Can’t wait to see him being that slightly crazy lawyer.

    I saw J. Jenks as more of a slimy character…. kinda tall and lanky… I just don’t see this guy pulling off being afraid of Bella…. but… he’s a great actor and I’m sure he’ll be wonderful after all.

    When you think about the way they shoot the movies, I think it may be very possible we see him for a second in Part 1. In the books it’s all from Bella’s perspective (and Jacob’s this time)….but didn’t Alice go see him before she left? The movies let us see things that we wouldn’t otherwise, and I think Alice’s planning might be one of those things.

    i found on IMDB that Toshiro is who marries Bella and Edward…but i thought that was Angela’s father. Here is what it said if you click on the name Toshiro and scroll down…
    “So not to run the risk of revealing ‘spoilers’ …………………………………………………….Toshiro is said to be the man who will marry Edward and Bella, and is the only known film only character so far.”

    Exactly as I pictured him, almost Wallace Shawn type. I see this guy as the shady guy that Bella meets infront of the run down building that connects her to J. Jenks, Oh I can’t remember his name.

    I pictured the same description! When I was reading the book, I had
    Josh Mostel, who played the principal in Billy Madison as J Jenks.

    actually that’s were your wrong, if you realised she was dying in part 1 ad Edward had to turn her before her heart stopped so he had to do it quickly plus in the book you cant tell what part is 1 or 2
