USA Today’s Best-Sellers List: Water For Elephants At Number One, Twilight Illustrated Guide At Number Four!

USA Today has released their Best-Sellers list as of today (April 22nd, 2011) the novel Water For Elephants, which Robert Pattinson stars in the movie adaptation, is at number one, and the Twilight Illustrated Guide is at number four!

1. “Water for Elephants: A Novel” by Sara Gruen (Algonquin) (F-P)

4. “The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide” by Stephenie Meyer (Little, Brown) (F-H)

It is not surprising that Water For Elephants is at number one! The movie adaptation hits theaters today!! And the novel is amazing. If you haven’t read it yet, we strongly recommend it!

I have picked my WFE book since the day i learned Rob was cast. And btw, yesterday i went to see the movie. Very emotional, beautiful, exciting and sad movie. But ladies, i want to say that we have already seen almost 80% of the movie in these videos, tv spots. I swear i am not going to do the same when BD comes. i will only watch the trailer. I hope there will be post where we can share our thoughts about WFE movie.:)

I saw the movie yesterday….well, actually, this morning….it was perfect, they rarely deviate from the book, and Rob did an amazing job.

I read the book twice i loved it and I saw WFE this moring will Midnight w/e i was amazing i loved it – very close to the book i was really happy about that Rob did and amazing Job – Resse and Chris did too

I have read the book and the movie just yesterday, and the movie was effing great….as for the guide of the saga, it hadn’t came over here to my city yet, but if there is a possibility for it not to be too expensive and interesting I might even buy it…rob looked gorgeous in the movie, did his role great,like everyone else..it was funny, sweet, interesting and sad…just go watch it if you can, you won’t be sorry, esp not if you want to see rob all sweaty, working in a wife beater only, or his beautiful piecing eyes, with his adorkable smile, and to see him covered up in a pink robe, with red lipstick and girly make up all over his face…LOL

How awesome for Sara to have her book on the best-selling list…TWICE! ♥

I don’t get to see WFE until Monday, and I’m totally sad. But it’s fun to read what those of you who have gone thought about it! I’m glad when movies stick close to the books. Then I don’t get lost for a bit trying to figure out WTF just happened??? *cough* Twilight *cough* Eclipse…lol

Oh, and speaking of: Is the OFFICIAL GUIDE worth buying???

that woman must be getting some big bucks cause of it, but i think its worth it because the book really is great…and yes, the movie is made close to the book, and if I can say closer than they EVER did with the saga movies… and btw, I just love your avi, very hilarious and totally adorkable…

I thought the book was ok. Some parts were great, but it took me a while to get through. The fun thing, was picturing Rob & Reese the whole time! And I knew once we started seeing set pics, photos & trailers, that I was really going to LOVE this film, [even though I already knew that when I heard Rob was in it] lol, but still…♥

no problem..just saying what I think…=)…..yeah, me too, but I wanted to get to the end so fast that I have read the book in 2 days, just like twilight…I always do that though…I always read the books too fast so I could get to the end, but when I do, I regret for doing that, good book or not…to be honest, I have only wanted to read the book after I’ve heard that rob will be in it….and it was such an interesting thing to read it and imagining him playing Jacob, especially when all those pics were coming out…I loved it too…have you seen it already?…I couldn’t stop looking at that man’s face for the entire 121 minutes that the movies had last…I was dazzled by his beautiful piercing color of his eyes and just his whole face, and his smiles… the ending was so cute I had to totally do the awwwww thing…if you didn’t see it, trust me when I say that you will like it…everybody was great, even the old man who played Jacob, and told the story trough the movie…and I definitely think that rob improved his acting skills in this movie…he was great in RM, but he also was in WFE, maybe even more so….

I won’t be seeing until Monday. *sobs* If they’d have left opening weekend on the 15th, I’d so be in HEAVEN right now! ♥ I read the book because of Rob, too…just like Cosmopolis if flying off the shelves now. But I have no desire to read that one. [not very good reviews] So I’ll just see the movie. [which I know will be written & acted out well if Rob & Jay are in it together!!!] ♥ Loved Rob in RMe!

you have seen it too ha?..wasn’t it just wonderful?…I’m very glad I’ve watched it finally…to be honest, I was kind of busy so I barely watched all the clips and the promoting interviews they all did, so most of the film for me was new, and never seen before…I totally did the same thing with eclipse, unlike when NM was coming to cinemas…it seems so funny to me now…funny how time goes by so fast, doesn’t it?…I’m hoping I will be as strong as I was while eclipse promotion and not see a damn thing, but I’m only human anyway…hopefully, BD will kick ass…can’t wait to see all those moments put in the movie for us too see…there better not be any disappointing things or scenes in BD…for me, WFE, the script and the movie was very much closer to the book than the saga ever was…IMO anyway…

Yeah, i truly enjoyed the movie. It was something new and different. Again i so regretted that i read the book and watched all the clips before the movie. You know, when you read the book before watching the movie, you approach it differently than other movies. (I had the experience with Eclipse) And there were only few scenes that i haven’t seen , as i saw majority of them in the clips. I agree with you the movie was very close to the book. (take a lesson MR!) And i hope BD will stay close to the book, as well.:)

aww, I’m sorry about that, but your time to see it will come too, you just have to be patient…hmm, I downloaded the cosmopolis (the book) to read it too, since he will be in that movie as well, but it just didn’t catch my attention like WFE did, so I just gave up…but I will watch the movie none the less…rob in RM was great!…

I definitely agree with you on that…reading a book before the movie is just a different experience, than the other way around…when you first read it, you just envision the things differently than they do it later in the movies…it’s just a little disappointing that the saga is so much more famous than WFE but wasn’t as close to the book as WFE, the script, and the movie was…but I have hope, and hopefully, BD will turn out great, it just has to!….

Been hearing that alot about Cosmopolis…which is why I think the movie will rock. The script must be much better ☺ And now that we have Rob & Jay…I know I’m gonna enjoy the heck out of it!
