IMDb has listed two new ‘rumored’ cast members to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2.   Drew Roy is rumored to play Nahuel and Guri Weinberg is listed to play Stefan.   The Twilight Examiner’s Amanda Bell has information on these two rumored cast members.

The first is Drew Roy, who the site notes is “rumored” to play “Nahuel.” That character, if you can’t quite place the name, is the one which [*spoiler alert*] which comes in at the very end as proof that “Renesmee” wasn’t the only one of her kind in the world and that she would grow up to normal size like the mortal that she is. As the Twilight Saga Wiki points out,  ”Nahuel is described as an extremely handsome young latin man with rich dark brown skin, eyes the color of warm teak, and extremely attractive features. He wears his black hair in braid past his shoulders.” Drew Roy is a film and TV veteran of Hannah Montana, Greek, and others, and you can check out a picture of him here.

The second is Guri Weinberg, who IMDb.com has listed as “Stefan.” “Stefan” was one of the two Romanian vampires who had a particular distaste for the “Volturi” and hoped to see them fall once and for all. Per Twilight Wiki, “He has black hair and dresses in all black.” Guri Weinberg has been in films like Munich and You Don’t Mess With The Zohan. A good photo of him is available here.

I can definitely see Guri Weinberg as Stefan.  IMDb has Guri playing Stephan in Breaking Dawn Part 1 as well.  I have no idea when they will cut to Part 2, but why would Stefan be in Part 1?

As for Drew Roy, he is very handsome and I’m sure he is a talented actor, but I can’t picture him as Nahuel.

    Yea I agree with you, it would be offensive. Well wouldn’t it be awesome if we could take over the movie and make it ourselves. I think we would do justice on the movies.

    I guess we wait and see. Nothing is confirmed yet. I just don’t want them casting actors that are “pretty” and that’s it, ya know?

    Exactly. We have come to love our current cast, though there were misgivings in the beginning. They have all proved themselves. Let this upcoming cast prove themselves, as well. Have you looked into getting an avi? I’ve seen you on here quite a bit and an avi would be helpful to recognize you better and represent yourself.

    I understand your point. I would rather have someone more ethnic, as well. However, this is Summit we are talking about. It’s all just a big money machine now and they keep believing they have to draw the teeny boppers in. I have never heard of this kid, but I’m sure alot of teens have. I would rather they bring in unknowns, like they did for the pack. I loved Dakota as Jane, as well, but she did not fit the visioin in my head. She was supposed to have short, dark hair and look frail and angelic on the outside. I just figured it is not worth it to get frustrated. Summit will do what they are going to do, knowing we will see the movies no matter what.

    Definitely not. I imagined Stefan much older than the guy they got. As for Nahuel, that guy DOES NOT look anything like him. Sorry Summit. I don’t like the fact that you try to cast white people for latin people. It’s not the same.

    Mmmm, tango…I can often imagine Mr. & Mrs. Edward Cullen doing a tango…I wonder if–in any of their um, free time on Isle Esme–if Edward and Bella practiced dancing on the beach as well as other things? Bella did say that despite her awkwardness, she does like dancing with Edward. And a tango…yum, with her simmering, sparkly, headboard breaking husband….

    I guess from the various posts – the majority agrees that Aldo Quintino should be Nahuel. Its too bad the fans can’t set the cast. Is there anyone we can talk to?

    the problem is that Nahuel represents a pre-conquerors era, where southamerican people where still not as racially mixed as they are today. Nahuel is describes as an aboriginal type of latin. Had Nahuel been 100 years old or some then there should be no problems, but the truth is Nahuel is way older than that, so it is not posible for him to look whitish.

    Yeah I always imagined Stefan older… But I also saw Caius as older too…
    But the look that Guri has that look to him that I did imagine as Stephan even tho he looks younger than I originally imagined.
    So I’m cool with him playing Stefan…

    What ever… I think u all need to just chill… No one is going to be exactly like we want them too… B/c the characters don’t exist in real life!
    All we can hope for is something SIMILAR and a GOOD ACTOR…
    IMO.

    That really sucks. Nahuel is brown skinned, the one chance Summit had to please the non-white twilight fans and hire a black person in a positive light, they cast the usual. As a fan whose not white I would have liked to see Nahuel cast as written in the book.

    I also agree that if the character is colored then the actor should be but the age thing is ridiculous. Vampires (in Stephanie Meyer’s books) do not age. So an 800 year old vampire can look like a 14 year old and a newborn could look like a 50 year old.
