I really really really dislike their eyes. Tell me, if you saw a ton of perfect looking people with alien -gold eyes – wouldn’t you start to wonder?? I totally prefer the ocher gold Catherine Hardwick did in Twilight..THAT is the perfect color! Its not supposed to be OBVIOUS! As Bella described in Twilight herself..she couldn’t see it for a bit then realized. Why why why did Hollywood have to do that??
I’ll admit that sometimes it brings out more emotion in a scene – but I think they could have played with that, the intensity of the eyes for special scenes – like when Edward proposed to Bella in his room.
Anyone agree with me? It bothers me every time i see it!!!! :*(

You are SO right!! their eyes are the most bright veggie-vampirish eyes i’ve ever seen!! i mean, Sure they had to be prepared to visit a place full of mortals, but how much blood could they have possibly drank that turned their beautiful eyes SO bright?? at this point i just hope it’s just photoshop, in order to make people notice these two… but how could someone miss them? Carmen looks gorge and as for Eleazar he’s hum… scary. Maybe it’s something the director thought he would be, since he was a member of the Volturi… or he could be staring at Irina cuz she might had done something inappropriate at the wedding like…, provoking a wolf or even insulting anyone (which would be very sad)…

Carmen and Eleazar? He looks kinda scary. I really didn’t picture him looking like that. Although he was in with the Volturi so it makes since that he would look as though he has seen a lot of unpleasant things. I imagined Carmen to look a little older.

I agree! Their eyes need to be toned down a bit.

The Denali’s are a different clan. I’m sure they had to feed before going to the wedding because of all the humans. Yes, they are vegetarians, but it can probably be explained by recent feeding and the lighting. I’m so excited!

I love the golden eyes. It makes them seem more intense and more human like. Their eyes in Twilight looked more brown and I didn’t like them.

totally agree, these eyes are more like what vampire diaries are putting on, please please let the two not be confused. keep to the more amber eyes that acually could pass for a human eye…noone would pass these eyes and not notice, completetly unreal!!!

I COMPLETELY agree with you!…. I’ve hated these ‘yellow’ eyes since I saw the first photos from New Moon… In my opinion, there were a lot of things Catherine Hardwick did better. But what can you do… sigh.
It still pisses me off though…
