Summit Moving “Full Steam Ahead” on Breaking Dawn 2 Press

Despite the recent turmoil in Twilight land, Summit has issued a statement ensuring fans that promotions for Breaking Dawn Part 2 will not be affected:

In an exclusive statement to EW, Summit’s president of worldwide marketing, Nancy Kirkpatrick says: “While it is studio policy not to comment on the personal lives of actors, Summit is moving full steam ahead and looking forward to this November’s opening of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.  We are confident that the film delivers amazing entertainment for our passionate fans and general audience alike.”

    i agree with you , i hope they can work it out. i see it as alot of people make mistakes and were not prefect so i hope he can forgive her and be together.

    It’s gonna be a nightmare.
    Ashley Greene had a press thing two nights ago and that’s all she was asked about.
    Last night – at the Total Recall on Aug 2, hosted by InStyle and The Peggy Siegal Company, and Twilight star Chaske Spencer gave his opinions on the affair, sort of.
    When we asked him if Twilight fans should separate the films from real life, he responded: “I think Syria is in big trouble if they don’t let the rebels go.”
    It’s going to be the worse press junket in the history of movies.

    I don’t think there are any other fans like the twilight fans. I think this whole thing with Kristen and Rob is a very private thing and should be kept private. I don’t know the whole or true story about the scandal but I believe its between them. I do feel very sad for both of them and just hope they can work it out together. I have very strong views on cheating and don’t thing there is any excuse for cheating on someone whether it just be a kiss or more. However I do feel for Kristen just as much as I do for Rob. I wouldn’t want to have to go through something like this in the public eye like they both are. I think its amazing how the twilight fans are sticking together and not contributing to the gossip or shunning Kristen. We really are amazing fans!!! I just want to say that I feel so bad for Rob and Kristen and hope that everyone can move past this.
