Pretty excited about this movie. I am a huge fan of Saoirse Ronan. I love her in all of her work. I never finished reading The Host, but I am going to have to now that the movie is coming out.

so when does this one come out ….. love the book very excited for the moive

  • PurpleHippo

I read The Host what seems like a long time ago now and enjoyed it. I’ll probably have to read it again before the movie :P

*mild spoiler if you have no clue what the book is about*
One thing I’m not sure how they’re going to depict is the 2 “voices” going on inside her head. From what I remember, that was so much of the book. Her inward struggle between her real self and her host self.

    This seems interesting…

The Host book has been lying on my bookshelf for couple of weeks unnoticed but after seeing this I am really curious to read it and find out more about the story. This is an excellent example of how to do teaser trailer

Not my kind of Movie, I’ll pass.

  • channy

it is realllllllyyyyyyyy a good book .that what happened to me as well and then I was so hooked on it I read it in 3 days

  • Calwen

I am not a huge fan of sci-fi stories but this one looks quite interesting and I hear a lot of good reviews so I am going to give it a try soon

I tried…really really tried. But this book was so uninteresting. Once I found myself forcing to flip a page, I knew I had to stop.

Just not my kind of story I guess..

Very cool.  I didn’t like the Host quite as much as I like Twilight, but part of that may have been that I had four books to fall in love with Edward and Bella and only one to get to know the Host characters.  Looks like the movie is going to be amazing.  Will definitely take a looksee.

the book is good I read it in leas than a week, I’ll be waiting in light for the midnight release :D

  • Narmin Quliyeva

I read this book and I really like it. Very very exciting story. But I am dissapointed on this trailer. I was hoping to see footage from the film.

  • Taylor_is_a_sexy_BEAST

They just started to film so there isn’t much to show. There are few leaked pictures online form the set.

  • Narmin Quliyeva

    Thank you, for your explanation.

  • ifonly2011

I thought the same….sci-fi not for me….but I loved the book, couldn’t put it down! Def worth a go…..:)

  • ifonly2011

Good point, it will be very interesting to see how they pull that off!

  • Calwen

Thanks for sharing your opinion :) I will definitely read it soon since I am getting more and more curious

  • Ashtensims28

I was the same way. If I’m having a hard time reading a book I’ll download the audiobook. It really helped get me through the first fourth of the book & then I couldn’t put the “book” down. I really ended up liking it. Not my fave by far but defiantly worth finishing. Hope this helps.

Trying to figure out if I should read the be before I see the movie… I’m scared due to my whole Twilight Saga let down. LOL Any suggestions??

  • ifonly2011

Have a feeling the film won’t be as good as the book…I didn’t expext to but couldn’t put it down once I’d started! Yep…..read the book first :)

  • Ronnie5683

I will check it out… thanks

Loved Twilight so much, disliked The Host an equal amount.  Har to believe they came from the same author.  Never thought I would say this but I actually liked The Hunger Games more than The Host.  The Fever series by Karen Marie Monning was a much better choice after Twilight.  Even Saoirse Ronan can not even help The Host.

  • Randers3

It was just dull.  It took me 4 weeks to finish the book but I had to force myself to read some each day.  Does not say much for the book.  I bought The Host based on how much I loved S.Meyer’s other books, what a disappointment.
