Hello Twihards!

Greetings from Los Angeles, where we’re hard at work on BREAKING DAWN, PART TWO. It’s truly crazy to think that it’s been a year since we wrapped production in Vancouver, since for those of us in the editing room the work has never stopped.

A film is a lot like a puzzle, with each piece – each shot, no matter how brief – needing to fit exactly with the ones around it. Our Part Two puzzle is finally coming into full view, and in a few weeks we’ll be heading back north to pick up some additional shots – the last tiny missing pieces. We’re not shooting any new scenes or dialogue, just some technical work with some of our cast and stunt actors.

I am really looking forward to being back on set with some of the friends I’ve made on my Twilight journey, like the great Guillermo Navarro, our cinematographer, and his crew. And yes, Rob and Kristen will be there too, to pop in those gold contacts one last time…

I’m excited to report that before too long we’ll have another trailer for you to decode. And wait until you see the first posters — they’re unlike any “Twilight” images you’ve seen before. And then November 16th will be upon us and the final film will be yours!

    I’m totally freaking out right now. I can’t wait 215 daysss!!!!! ahhhh! and i was also thinking they better put all the deleted and extended scenes from BDP1 and 2 on the next dvd. I was really disappointed that they were no deleted scenes on the BDP1 DVD- considering i had 3 disk edition plus a normal edition one.

    Hmm… wondering about what he said about Kristen and Rob popping in gold contacts. Shouldn’t Kristen’s be red? I know they got less red in the book but they were never gold. Maybe it was just easier to say both of them would be popping in gold contacts instead of mentioning 2 different colours. Maybe I’m just reading way too much into this :P Though it would be nice to see a gold eyed Bella. Sort of a happily ever after thing.

    If their not shooting any new scenes or dialogue, why would Kristen and Rob need to be there and have to put the contacts back in. I would think they have already shot theBD2 movie promo pics at the same time they did the BD 1 pics.

    I love that Bill actually posts things and keeps the Twihards in the loop! Easily my favorite director of the Saga! (Although I do like the others too!)

     Im really curious how those new posters would look like, hopefully they would be better than posters for BD1 . Cant wait :)

     I too would like to know where you got a 3 disc addition and what was on it, I feel like I have missed out on something now. I can’t wait for the new trailer and hope we see more of Rob!

     Maybe they put a sceen in into the future at the end of the film with everyone happy at last. With Renesmee grown up and in love with Jacob, I think that would be a nice touch even though its not in the book.

    If you watch the clip played at Target, (on youtube), when she’s in the cottage and finds the page from Alice, her eyes are gold.  They probably didn’t keep the red eyes in very long to make her seem more in tune with Edward.  We are a visual society and red eyes mean evil in the former movies. And, they speed up time in the movies. Of course, I’m just speculating here. Nevertheless, Kristen’s absolutely stunning in brown, red, gold, and her natural green eyes.  And, on a side note, whoever did the makeup for Breaking Dawn did a fabulous job!  I heard Rob say in an interview he’d requested the same makeup crew from Water for Elephants.  Bravo!!

    OMG! So excited! Breaking Dawn cast together! Again!(not full cast, but, it is cool anyway) And i am agree with you, Vampire Angel91, Bill Condon allways keeps us in the loop! I am really respect and love him for this.

    I cannot WAIT for the posters! I always love the posters. Except the BD1 posters..those were awful, honestly. I loved the New Moon posters the best, and Twilight of course. Eclipse was okay. I’m glad Bill mentioned that these posters will be good. It’s like he’s letting us know that, “Hey, sorry about the BD1 posters! But I promise the BD2 posters will be badass! I’ll make it up to you.” 
    I can’t wait. I. Can’t. Wait. And the trailer of course :) can’t wait for that. 
    So, Rob and Kris will be Bella and Edward for one last time, eh? Didn’t expect that! I wonder how they feel about that..? Long Live Twilight!

    hiya girls long time no see. and yes it is great to have our wonderful bill condon keep us up to date on whats going on and from the sound of this message it sure sounds like bd part w is going to blow all the other twilight films out of the water no out of the ball park oh hell the whole universe!!!!! lets get it on! lets get thisparty started

    Rob has a tan that can be easily covered in makeup … they could put a wig on him, or cgi some hair.

    they actually sped up the process, on the leaked pictures her eyes were gold during the Volturi confrontation scene. I guess people who havent read the books have come to associate red eyes with the evil vampires so they wanted to establish that Bella is in fact vegetarian and she is one of the ‘good guys’

    I hope the posters are better too. The BD 1 posters were not good, or very creative. I hope they fired whoever did the last one and the person who approved them.

    Apparently they feel the need be negative and don’t know a beer belly when they actuallly see one or in this case when they don’t.

    I hope they have a natural looking wig for Rob, and its in keeping with the hair in BD 1.

    I totally agree, BD1 posters were over-photoshoped and everyone looked too artificial on those posters. But if BD2 posters are axcellent I will happilly forgive them:)
