The Twilight Saga producer Wyck Godfrey talked to MTV about Breaking Dawn Part 2, Lee Pace as Garrett, Edward as the patriarch of the family, vampire Bella, and that fans can look forward to a “great, final moment” in Part 2.

He also says Rob and Kristen have the Best Kiss Category beat.

I wonder if the final moment when Bella lets Edward ‘see’ her mind. *cries*

I really don’t think I’m emotionally prepared to say goodbye to Twilight. I’ll be the crazy bitch climbing over people in the theater grabbing on to the silver screen when the credits roll at the end of BD2. I’ll be crying and pleading with God and probably wetting my pants and possibly a #2 might slip out. I’ll have no control at that point.

I’m not sure if I entirely agree with him about Edward being the “patriarch”. Perhaps of his and Bella’s “immediate” family but not of the entire family as a whole. I never got that “vibe” from the books.

Cant be too sure but I think that’s what Wyck means when he says becomes the Patriarch, Edward becomes the head of his own family. Yes he is still part of the Cullen family but he now has a little family of his own. Just my thoughts though.

I agree, that Wyck meant Edward would be the head of his little family. We all know Carlisle is the patriarch of the coven/family as a whole. Even Bella says that when listening to the story of Tanya and how they lost their creator, and that she couldn’t imagine the Cullens without their partriarch Carlisle.

I hope when Wyck talked about at the end you get to relive the series, that its Bella showing Edward her thoughts and all the memories shes been saving of their life together. That would be the prefect ending, as it is in the book. Don’t let us down BC.

I’m sure the ending will be a flash-forward scene (Wyck said it goes beyond the book) and we’ve already seen the older Renesmee from the imprinting scene.

have a feeling the final moment will be exactly like in the book, at least that is what i am hoping for! but he says that you will relive the entire saga in the final moment. i am hoping for some major flashback clips!!! i have to prepare myself emotionally for the goodbye of Twilight
