If only Bill *had* taken her up on writing the script. God, that would have made me so happy. I feel very strongly that a lot of what the reviewers don’t like about these movies is MR’s inane dialogue and lowest-common-denominator story arcs. She puts the cheesy/crass/oversimplified Hollywood vibe into these films, imo. Kristen, Rob, and other factors (like Bill) are what redeem the films for me, but wouldn’t it have been nice if they hadn’t had to work against MR’s effect over the years?
