Peter Facinelli talks flying with the New York Times

Peter Facinelli (Dr. Carlisle Cullen) talked about his many flying experience with the New York Times recently.

I remember being on a plane and the woman sitting next to me was reading “Twilight.” She looked really engrossed, and I kept thinking that maybe I should introduce myself to her. But I didn’t. It would have been a little weird. I’ve also never even watched any of the “Twilight” movies while flying. If one is showing, I just kind of duck down low and go to sleep.

Sometimes when I am recognized, I wish I hadn’t.

Since flying is my time to relax, I’m not one to really chat with seatmates. When waiting for a flight, I kill time playing Words With Friends. I really get into the zone. I was so into the zone once that I didn’t realize it was time to board a flight. Someone tapped me on the shoulder and I jumped up. I may have screamed a little. So did he. But he did recognize me, which was embarrassing. He just wanted to tell me he was a fan.

LOL!  I love Words With Friends too!   Make sure you stop playing it when  you’re on the runway Peter.  Don’t pull an Alec Baldwin!

What is Words with Friends?  I’ve never heard of it.

Its a version of scrabble played on IPads and notebooks.  Very slow moving but a good time-waster.
