The trailer for Kristen Stewart’s ‘On the Road’ co-starring Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley debuted today.

Look at dancing Mary Lou go!! =D

The release dates are spread across the year! Earliest being Belgium (23 May 2012), latest being Argentina (22 November 2012) as seen at IMDb

Not on that list is Australia (04 October 2012) and UK (21 September 2012) but still no US date that I’ve heard of… :(

    This looks really good. I was reading the synopsis on the Facebook page and it kind of sounds like they changed the story a bit from the novel, but the trailer looks like it’s going to respect the story pretty well. I’m really excited, I just wish they would release a release date for the US.

    But that would defeat the purpose of driving us insane. :) I need to read the novel. I like reading the novel of a movie before I see the movie. It’s how I actually read the Twilight Saga.

    Anyways, I’ve had the book since December and I haven’t finished reading it, I need like 2 more chapters, personally it’s a bit boring but the life they’re living is so fascinating. The movie looks great and no matter what I’m definitely watching it!

    For SWATH I’m pretty sure they will release a trailer with Kristen talking in it. Last month I went to watch Chronicle and in the ads was a SWATH trailer with Chris Hemsworth narrating it..the queen only had 2 lines.

    Kristen was amazing in the trailer without having any lines the way she showed all those emotions in the dance scene just magnificent !!!!

     The novel is really fascinating. I will admit that there are definitely some slow parts throughout, but the story shifts intensity and location so often and the story as a whole is quite riveting.

    Yeah theres only been two versions of the SWATH trailer, the queen and then the huntsman narrating it. They must be keeping Kristens accent a surprise??

    I totally agree with you there I tried reading it but it did seem boring at fist but for the book to come alive I’m defenitly watching it. Kristen your amazing in this movie.

    Looking at the trailer — are they driving around nude in the front seat?   And what’s that scene with Garrett?   The one where he’s got no shirt on?   Is he having a really bad drug experience or is that a sex scene?   Does anyone know what the movie will be rated?   Did the trailer say that Marylou is 16?

    I totally thought that was a sex scene too, D. But I think it was drug-induced dancing. And I totally do think they were nude in the front seat. Especially since I saw KStew with no top on and apparently no bra. No AC in the car. lol. I am not sure what the movie will be rated but I am going to take a guess at R. I heard that there is some pretty explicit sex scenes in it between Marylou and Dean.

    Rated R…and yep, they’re all naked in the seat, lol. Heads up too for one crazy sex scene ;) that I heard was in the script and I’ve seen pictures of. This movie looks great! Did u see Kirstin Dunst in there too. Looking forward to Amy & Vigo also ;)

     That is exactly in the book. The book describes quite wild period of main character’s lives. It was very interesting to read

    It’s in the book.  It’s a scene where Marylou is involved in a “hands on” sex act with Sal and Dean.  And yes they are all naked.  There is a lot of sex in this movie.  LOL

    This is going to be an intense film! I’m excited to see the whole story. I’m one of the few who watches the movie first and then reads the book. I’m a bit strange like that haha!
