Is that seriously all they could give us? I don’t see any other movies having lame posters? I hate to be negative but i’m not impressed at all. I can see why they’ve done it and its an ok poster but we’ve already had a crappy one (the black one with red writing) and now this. They could have done this one in place of the black one and then give us something worth looking at!

That poster looks far from “pretty” and “cute” to me. The colors and the ways the clouds are formed definitely gives a wary feeling like there’s a bitter sweet situation. This poster captures the book’s feeling of suspense and anticipation.. dark and untold secrets.. its perfect.

When I first saw this poster, I thought of the old rhyme about forecasting the weather:
“Red sky at morning….sailors take warning.
Red sky at night….sailors delight”.
Which means that a red sky at dawn is a warning there are storms ahead….I wonder if Summit used this wisdom in making the poster?
Oh yeah, red sky at twilight means the next day will be calm.

I was so excited when I read the “Official Breaking Dawn Part 1 Poster” then I scrolled down and was like “Are you effing kidding me?”! Sorry, but color me super unimpressed! Kudos to Will’s amazing foresight though! A dawn breaking for Breaking Dawn! How groundbreaking! Who would have guessed?! LOL! Just kidding, but watch Will, the major poster (not this “teaser” BS) will probably look almost exactly the same as your header! Scummit isn’t exactly known for their originality. I mean between all of WB’s HP posters since Order of the Phoenix (the last time they had any unique design) and Twilight’s posters its a tough call which studio is more lazy and complacent about its fans.

Man they need to do something else with the coloring of the font. its only 1 shade and it’s looking bland. :[
i mean.. the eclipse font coloring was poppin! it was silver with the cool red outline. remember the eclipse teaser poster? it was good.
but this.. well .. i guess you cant do much with ‘dawn breaking’
