The cottage and Renesmee’s bedroom look so dreamy!

  • cmb897_TeamTwilightCast

Love all of it! I hope to see it tons more once finals are over. =D

  • Mary pat

One little detail I noticed…check it out next time you see the movie again….
When Bella is driving back after seeing J. Jenks and she is on the curvy road, the speed limit is posted as 80 mph !!!

  • mlbatts

I loved it so much! I’ve seen it 3 times already and want to go back again!

  • ryder

The costumes were fantastic for ALL of the characters this movie, especially Allistair and Garrett, oh, and the Romanians were right on the mark in every way, including their accents. And, I really LOVED the costumes the Volturi wore in the flashback scene and the battle scene. And, I must say Robert can really wear a sweater or jumper as it’s called in the U.K.! Mmmm, what a man. AND, finally, I truly enjoyed every single second of the movie, but I think my favorite part was when Bella went after Jake for imprinting on her daughter. Kristen’s angry face was perfect and Taylor whimpering in fear before she drags him out of the house, priceless. I was laughing like crazy. And, I must admit Edward watching his wife admiringly from the porch totally made the scene.

Ok this is either off topic or it does relate. But just now I was reading a very interesting article about how catholic cinema group called the cbcp cinema analyze the movie and praised on how it has a prolife message. Meaning that the film and book should be reccomended bc it teaches some very important lessons about the value of marriage and having a family. And u know over the last couple of weeks since the movie I have been raving on how the movie centers on family the importance of family responsibility sacrafice and loyalty. People need to understand that the story of twilight is not how they ignorantly perceive it is not about carnage or even sex or the everlasting theme of the love triangle it is far more than that. I have been stressing onhow twilight teaches readers not only about love but about how one is willing to fight for love and do it out of love and selflessness. They mention on how bella has really transformed and come to her own not just being a fierce new vampire but also being a devoted loving mother and wife. She has grown up a lot and has become such an empowered woman with dignity and strength. Its made her a better character and grow as a person. The way kristen stewart has played this role honestly noone else could be as convincing and real as she has. She has contributed so much toher character. Its really great to see how other outsiders r really giving this movie a chance and seeing it and viewing it the way it deserves to be and of couse theymentioned how the use of the final battle sequence was very mindblowing and captivating making audiences feel anxious and yet sympaphetic to its beloved character. So yeah there u have it . Our precious movie is continuuing to get much needed praise and being recognized as the beautiful powerful story that we know and love

  • mirandathevampgirl

Me too school is going to be brutal these next couple of weeks so that’s why I saw it a second time beforehand

  • mirandathevampgirl

I was thinking of a really cute dream and story idea that I had in mind. I was dreaming on how edward and little reneesme would one day sing and play a little duet together. Wouldn’t that be sweet

  • mirandathevampgirl

Yeah that was a really good scene. At firt I really wanted edward to be the one who kicks jacobs butt andput him in his place but him watching bella put matters into her own hands while he does it with a smile was priceless.
And yes those costumes were very much outstanding there should be an oscar nomination for that.

  • cmb897_TeamTwilightCast

I’ll have to look for that next time! Thanks!

When Charlie goes to see Bella for the first time, I’m sure the music playing is the theme played when Bella goes to the dance studio in Twilight – the irony, that was about Bella being in danger from James, and in BD pt 2, it’s Charlie ‘being in danger’ from Bella!

I know we have ‘the complete archive’ but does anyone know if a ‘breaking dawn part 2: the official illustrated movie companion’ will ‘be released to go with all the others in the twilight saga? Also heard from amazon that ‘new moon graphic novel’ is unavailable to order! :(

  • AJGALVEZ

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1673434/ VOTE 10 FOR BD PART 2 AT IMDB

  • http://www.breakingdawnmovie.org/ JayPat

Oh, I’ll have to remember to listen during that part when she sees Charlie. That is very interesting!

You know, we never received any information on Breaking Dawn Part 2 movie companion. Just the Complete Archive, which I’m assuming is in replace of that. Because BD2 movie companion would be released now if there was one. But it might be a nice surprise if they release one later. :)

    Miranda,

Yes, I totally agree. But we all the snobbish Academy would never consider giving a “silly Twilight” movie any kind of award. Just look at Harry Potter. Alan Rickman should’ve at least been nominated for Deathly Hallows part 2, but no, totally snubbed. It’s wrong! Every year 5-8 movies are nominated for these coveted golden statures, and most of the films I’ve never even seen in the theaters. I say a film that just earned a half a BILLION, (that’s Billion with a B), dollars in one week is the real winner. Okay, I’m done venting. That being said, I think Allistair was so sexy with his aloof looming ways. He and Garrett and Benjamin were absolutely awesome. I heard in an interview Lee Pace say he took Garrett’s vest home with him. I can’t wait to see him in The Hobbit. Oops! I just let my geek level slip out didn’t I? Oh, well, 20 years as a lit. teacher shows.

  • ryder

    Well said, Miranda.
That would be Stephenie’s strict Mormon values showing through. As a Christian woman, I am thrilled beyond words that so many millions of people of all ages, from all over the world, flocked to a series of films that weren’t filled with wild sex and violence. These books and films actually reflect good moral values and show how true love is eternal. It doesn’t come with strings attached or depend upon how fast you jump in bed together. That’s why Stephenie didn’t detail the sex scenes in writing Breaking Dawn. We all know what sex is and how it works. She left it to the reader’s imagination. Her soul emphasis was true love fights for one another. It’s enduring. Timeless. Forever. . .

JayPat, Unfortunately, I read somewhere that the archive was replacing the movie companion. I’m not going to lie, I’m disappointed. I love the movie companions. They are my favorite part of the saga. My daughter gets one for me for Christmas every year. She even remarked, that they didn’t do a Volvo contest this year. I really missed that. She and I would play together on the phone every night. No Burger King promotion either. I guess they figured they didn’t need to over promote, we’d be there regardless. And, the massive box-office dollars have proved just that to be true.

  • leahreallyitis

that was beautifully said Miranda! I don’t think I could have said it better myself :D

  • leahreallyitis

Summit decided too put out something different they did the exact same thing that Harry Potter did and I love it I have both the HP archive book and the twilight archive book as well :)

  • leahreallyitis

go too http://www.barnesandnoble.com and you can pre-order it there it is a hard cover and you can also get the Twilight graphic novel collectors edition as well

  • http://www.breakingdawnmovie.org/ JayPat

I think I read that too, but still hoping for one. I use to get one for Christmas too but from myself. Hubs didn’t know where to look. LOL!

Oh yeah, they didn’t do Volvo contest this year. Interesting. Especially since he drove the Volvo to Alaska. Hello marketing for Volvo!!!

  • http://www.breakingdawnmovie.org/ JayPat

Where? For the Breaking Dawn Part 2 companion? I just saw it for Part 1.

  • leahreallyitis

for the New Moon graphic novel and the Twilight(graphic novel) collectors editon Summit, (unless I am wrong) will not be doing a movie companion book the only thing they have out is the Twilight Archive book with mementos, memories, of the WHOLE saga it is really awesome I love it and it is like looking at a scrapbook it is so cool the they way did it and they did it in the same kind of style as the Harry Potter archive book so again there will not be a movie companion book just the archive book get it you will love it and also if you want the graphic novels go to the barnes and noble site or you could go too the store and get it in person if there is one close by too where ya live :) ps I wish they did have a movie companion book but you will love this archive book it is SO worth it

  • leahreallyitis

yes that is true and believe me when I say it is SO worth the money it is awesome they way designed it you will love it :)

  • leahreallyitis

ha ah ahah aha ahhaaa and when he called her daughter Nessie and Bella gets even more pissed off YOU NICK NAMED MY DAUGHTER AFTER THE LOCK NESS MONSTER ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!

  • leahreallyitis

Garrett is not hard too look at I must say and Benjamin is really cool that was a cute sence where he shows Renesmee a trick oh so cute I love it!

  • leahreallyitis

I love it too! the cottage is just enchanting!

  • cmb897_TeamTwilightCast

I’ve seen it twice, but I’m just itching to see it at least two more times haha!

  • DJ

Thanks for your help. I have the archive book, the front cover’s so beautiful I’ve got it on show, though no-one touches without my permission ;) I’m in the uk so will do some research on the new moon graphic novel’s availability.

  • DJ

It was the 3rd time I saw the movie that I noticed it. That’s what I love about repeatedly seeing it, once I’m visually satisfied, I then start really noticing the music more! ;)

I’m gutted about there not being a movie companion; it sort of completes the set :/ I too love ‘the complete archive’ but there’s not enough of BD pt 2, Surely since they would make a shed load of money from us, someone will pick on that it would be a good idea for them and as you say, a nice surprise for us, :)

  • EleazarTheVampire

I have seriously seen it 6 times! i am on like twilight overload!

  • ryder

Thanks Leah, I almost ordered it then changed my mind because I was afraid it wouldn’t be as good as the movie companion. I’ll order it now.

  • ryder

Definitely love Garrett. He is soooo sexy. There were times he had me saying, “Edward who?” I totally fell in love with his character in the book.
Furthermore, I’ve always said, if I had a special power, it would be to zap people when they do something mean to someone else. When I read about Kate, I was like, “YES! How lucky is she”.
She and Garrett were perfect together on screen and on the page.
My favorite Benjamin moment is when he lights the fire at the camp site and Jacob says, “now that’s what I’m talking about”. I love the camraderie that develops between the “blood suckers” and the “dog” in that one scene of them all telling “war stories”.
But let’s be real, the whole movie is amazing though.

  • twilight_girl

Seconding to your thoughts right now.

  • Mary pat

There are so many “favorite scenes” in BD2. The movie moves fast from one favorite to the next. Some are funny like when Jacob says “You have to admit Dracula 1 and 2 are creepy” or when Bella asks, “When did you become so concerned about Renessmees’?” But the scenes that I love the most are those when Bella gets to kick some Jacob or Emmett butt.

A word to the casting director – Congratulations on choosing Michael Sheen to play the most demented Aro ever. That sick laugh when he hears Nessie’s heart is great.
Sorry to bore you all with my rant but I can’t hellp re-living the film over and over.
