Kristen Stewart Reveals She Won’t Wear a Wig in Breaking Dawn!

Kristen Stewart revealed last night on the Lopez Tonight Show that she will not be wearing a wig in Breaking Dawn!

Kristen wore a wig for her character Bella Swan in Twilight Saga: Eclipse despite being offered “many ridiculous” things not to cut it by the studio. This quality of the wig has been a point of contention for many fans that have seen Eclipse. She cut her hair in order to work on the Runaways to play Joan Jett and match her trademark hair. When George Lopez asked if the studio wanted her to do it, she said–

“Nooooo…they didn’t [want me to cut it]! They sort of freaking hate me for this, but they offered many ridiculous things not to do that.”

It seems they were even willing to pay Kristen extra not to cut her hair before Eclipse started filming. She says she “completely understands” why they didn’t want her to cut it, but “figured we’d have a better wig” for Eclipse. The good news is–

“I’m not going to have a wig in the next one–I’m just going to have my own hair”

    wish she woulda wanted to keep her natural hair for eclipse rather than cut it all off for The Runaways. i really dont think her hair really helped the runaways that much anyway. but then again, i didnt even get into the runaways at all. not my cup of tea.

    but i'm just glad she's not wearing a god awful wig for BD.

    yeah we all knew that she wasn't going to have a wig for the next one. her hair will be grown out a lot and they will just be able to do hair pieces on here or possible extensions, but my guess is a hair piece since that is what she had in twilight and new moon.

    So glad that there will be no wig!!! I was paying close attention to the Leg Hitch and Meadow scenes. I don't feel Kristen could really go for it like she did in Twilight for fear of moving the wig. I need Edward to be able to pull some hair and ruffle some feathers. *Pun intended*

    Okay. I love Kristen but that wig wasn't gonna make its presence at Bella's wedding to Edward Cullen. Bella had to have her real hair because all I can picture is her coming down the stairs to marry her dream man and that wig wouldn't cut it at all. I could deal with it in Eclipse because Edward was so beautiful that I could let it slide, but BD is about Edward and Bella and how literally close and together they get and we need Edward able to hold the hair, pull the hair, caress her hair and of course it needs to get wet in the ocean on her Honeymoon.

    I didn't think the wig looked as bad in Eclipse as it seemed to on set. Not as good as natural, but not too bad.

    yay!! so so glad about this :) the wig didn't actually look as bad as I though in eclipse but definitely happy to see her normal hair in BD. do we really have to wait 16 months? *sighs*

    Me too, but not only as Bella, but I really didn't like black hair on Kristen.
    The short, black hair look really wasn't working for me and you have no idea how glad I am that she is going back to normal :D

    i think that judging by the length of her hair now that she would need extensions because of she only has a few weeks and hair doesn’t grow that fast

    i really never noticed, but you can tell a bit now that i payed attention to it…they should of hired a black hairstlyist that know how to style wigs perfectly…

    I was so happy when I found out Bella was wearing a wig in the other films, because I was so jealous if that was her real hair! haha:’) but her hair looks the best in breaking dawn, and thats when it looks the nicest – oh dear i’m depressed :D hahaha! xx
