Well it’s not that we’re bashing on Kristen, oh sorry some idiots here are, I for example just wanted to see others their thoughts. Ok, I admit that “horrible” was a little harsh. She just seems uncomfortable in her skin, which makes it uncomfortable for me to watch her.

It’s just all about demand, not what they are actually doing. They “work hard,” yes, but at something they probably really enjoy, and yes they are absurdly pampered and have way more opportunities than most people ever will, so much money and travel and pampering and meeting people and going to places normal people who never get to go to. It is not a “real” life, per se, it’s beyond what anyone should have, but the reason they get paid so much is because WE buy movie tickets, we fuel the game, it’s all supply and demand, and when a studio knows how much an actor can command they get paid as such, has nothing to do with talent or hard work or anything. Twilight is a big movie and people paid to see it, hence, KS gets paid a lot and keeps getting paid a lot based on her popularity. She’s not doing anything deep or “important” except pleasing people like us who want to be entertained, that’s it. People put actors up on these pedestals, they’re treated like gods, they get everything they want (if they are successful), it’s a bizarre way to live, but, WE as a society fuel this. Why should somebody like Snooki be a millionaire and some teacher or doctor who busts their ass and actually is contributing to society have to struggle. It’s insanity, but we as a people, a dumb people, would rather read Snooki’s Twitter feed or read gossip crap about people who DO NOTHING. A lot of people are famous for ridiculous reasons. I know KStew isn’t on the same par as a dumb reality star but the point I’m trying to make is that we are responsible for what they get paid.

I didn’t say anything bad about KS, I just said The financial success is a product of supply and demand, her fans love her, she’s popular, she’s in huge films, that is why she’s making that much money. Nobody said she was a bad actress, I just said her paycheck isn’t based on her being the BEST actress in the world. Seriously, are you daft? No, that’s not how it works or what I said at all.

As I said, what we will edit (bad language) or delete (trolling/abusive/racist/etc) is “bad language, abusive stuff, but not unpopular opinions–we’ll let those get downvoted instead.” That’s the whole point of upvoting or downvoting. It doesn’t make your comment disappear, just lets everyone know that comes after what the majority of people that come to this website think of your viewpoint. For example I’ll make up an example: “Kristen Stewart is $#ing stupid” would be removed for trolling, “Kristen Stewart is $%ing stupid because she has bad taste in fashion, as shown in this picture from her red carpet appearance….” is a lot different and would remain, even if it’s a bit harshly worded.

One is just namecalling to get people riled up, or trolling, and has no place on this site, another is a strong and unpopular opinion backed up with at least a sliver of reasoning.

You are not understanding what I am saying, clearly. I’m not saying basing people and “hatred” is within intelligent conversation. I’m saying that one often, on this site, cannot express an opinion that, while not bashing, may disagree with the gushing of others and that is often met with contempt. Example, “I don’t like Kristen’s hair at that premiere, it looks really unkempt,” might be met with rage by others on this site. Just an example.

I will pay for a ticket to see Breaking Dawn 2 and will then refrain from seeing other KS movies. I know it won’t make a dent in her retirement, but I will certainly be a lot happier. Thank you kindly for your concern.
