Shockya.com interviewed Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Hale) recently for his new interactive web series Aim High, which hits the web on October 18th.   Here’s part of the interview about Twilight and the fans.

ShockYa: And you have a couple of upcoming projects coming out soon, especially “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.”

Jackson Rathbone: Yeah well Twilight comes out November 18th, we’re gearing up for that. It’s kind of like the calm before the storm right now.

ShockYa: Have you ever had any scary “Twilight” fangirls?

Jackson Rathbone: I don’t know if I have especially for that, it’s always different. I don’t think anybody likes being groped or grabbed because I don’t. If I’m at a bar and you want to say hi to me, say hi to me. I’m a nice guy, I’ll say ‘Hi, nice to meet you,’ but I don’t know why someone would grab me to get my attention. I’ve had my ass grabbed a whole bunch which is — I wonder if there’s a moment where you think I’m going to turn around and be like ‘I love you’? Where they think it’s good to just grab my ass is just amazing. That’s not cool but everything else is amazing. Just having the support of an amazing fan base, that means the world. if I have to get my ass grabbed every once in awhile so be it.

    Some fans get insane. When they were here in Baton Rouge filming BD I heard some stories. A group of girls stalked Kellan Lutz in the Mall of Louisiana for several hours. They hovered outside the GNC store my co worker manages. I wish it was my store he came into, but I felt really bad for him.

    oh so do I LOL and that is because you are smart enough not to do something like that I don’t know if you saw this YOU TUBE thing a while back this was at a CC event and some woman(mind you a WOMAN) said to Rob point blank you are nom! nom nom! he had the expression of WHAT.THE.HELL.DID.YOU.JUST.SAY.?!! seriously I am not makin this up if I was sitting there I would have waited til the event was over and I would have caught her and I would have RIPPED her a new one! I mean(this is NOT all talk no action) I would have yelled at her something fierce

    I feel bad for him, people groping him and all. In L.A. after the El Rey performance there was an after party at Angels and Kings…I was sitting on the edge of a table (it was so crowded) and Jackson was walking right behind me. I did reach out and touch his wrist to get his attention but I didn’t hold onto him the entire I was talking and I just said thanks for an awesome show. He smiled and said “thanks darlin.” Now idk if he  was jsut being nice and is incorporating that type of thing into this touching situation, and if he is, wow I’m sorry…..but PLEASE BE NORMAL PEOPLE, it’ll ruin it for everyone.
