Happy birthday to one of the most beloved characters of all time. :)

    I could say that my best moments are at either end of the saga. That fragile, curious, persistent and mortal Bella in Twilight; unconditionally and irrevocably in love with Edward. And on the other hand, the strong, sexy, talented and immortal vampire, wife and mother in BD.

    It’s not my favorite but it’s the one scene that moved me the most was Bella in New Moon (movie) during the months passing by with Possibility. Makes me cry every time. Anyone who’s had a heartbreak could feel that.

    My favorite I think is vampire Bella ready to fight the Volturi, sacrificing herself to protect Renesmee.

    Happy Birthday to Bella! I love all Bella moments but I think one of my favourites is when she finds out Jake imprinted on Renesmee, just because her reaction is so strong and protective, it really shows how Bella has changed over the books.

    Happy Birthday Bella! Eighteen and sparkly forever!
    My favorite Bella moment is the last few pages of Breaking Dawn, when she finally realizes that happy ends really do exist, and that she has an eternity ahead of her to spend happily with her family, husband and daughter.

    My favorite Bella moment is any time she gets riled up! I love it! She can be intimidating (in a minimal sort of way) and yet hilarious at the same time. For example, when Jake tries to kiss her and she gets so angry she punches him and hurts her hand in the process. Classic! The best part though is even though she’s in pain she’s still pissy with Jake. Emmet says it best in the movie, “Bad ass”! xD

    I love every Bella moment though, or else I wouldn’t be so passionate about this series! ♥

    Loved the blood typing scene in the first book that didn’t make it into the movie.Would love to have seen that on film.Edward carrying her to the nurse’s office and reading her reactions was great!

    Bella is my favorite character. Because she is a normal girl, powerless and yet full with strenght, courage and love to protect Edward and the people she loves! In Breaking dawn she is the real hero!!!

    Happy bday to our beloved bella who has transformed from a meek little lamb to a strong fierce lioness.
    My favorite bella moment in the books as far as I can remeber is whenshe makes her speech about how in all her life for 18 yrs she had gone from being an ordianry human being to a vampire claiming that this was the path in her life that she is destined to b a part of and finding her true self and identity.
    In the films I think the best one for me was when she is standing in the mirror in awe of the fact that she is has a baby inside her and is going tob a mother. Its one of those moments in twilight that bella has become a woman and not a teen anymore bc of the love that she already feels for her unborn child. :) nothing is more powerful than a mothers love

    I agree with Jay-Peeta-Pat and Marlita. The months-passing-by scene with Possiblity hit me with the most emotional impact. I have never experienced such heartbreak myself, but I had no trouble feeling Bella’s pain. I want to extend that scene to include the going-back-to-Jacksonville scene with Charlie beside her truck. Kristen looks and acts so convincingly hopeless and depressed as she tells Charlie she’s NOT leaving Forks. She looked and sounded like she had been crying all night. She’s amazing.

    But that’s not the only scene that hits me in the gut. Nothing can top the moment in BD1 when Edward first hears the baby’s thoughts in the womb and they discover that the baby is good, that he absolutely adores Bella, and Kristen is crying tears of joy and sweet talking to her baby and then laughing with Edward. Pass the Kleenex!

    Both of those were from the movie. From the book, I loved when Bella bravely runs through the fountain in Volterra to save Edward in the alley under the clock tower. She said something like, “Then I saw him. It was really him. I didn’t care if he didn’t want me. He was all in this world that I would ever want.” Love it! Can you tell that New Moon is my favorite book?

    I also would have loved to have seen, the blood typing scene. It would have been great to see it brought to life.

    i strongly agree with your last fav twigrandma. from memory i believe the line reads “Then i saw him. It was really him. My memory had not done him justice. At that moment I realised it didnt matter if he didnt want me. I would never want anything more then him” ahhhh gave me chills just remembering it (and no i so didnt cheat from the book i just love it!!)
    what other Bella moments do I love:
    Twilight:
    Edwards first sleep over and in the morning realising that he stayed and leaping into his arms.
    Sealing away her heart to Edward in a letter after she realises she has to go and save her mum.
    PROM!!
    New Moon:
    chasing her hallucinations just so she can hear Edward
    Cliff jumping and what she thought was her death
    Alice’s return and overhearing the conversation between Alice and Charlie in the kitchen
    Edwards return and his pledge of love to her
    Realising that Edward loved her and that he was just as changed on the inside as she was during their seperation (On the way to cullens)
    Eclipse (not my fav book):

    Pregnancy

    Love in a whole new way

    and my personal fav maybe out of the entire series….removing the shield from her mind so Edward can read her thoughs

    Edward:”Know what”
    Bella:”Now you know that no one has ever loved anyone as much as I love you”
    again, tingles. If this is left out of the movie i’m gonna be so disapointed!!

    I havent commented in so long! Anyway, I also love it when they show the scene of her in her grief as the seasons pass by. I also love the scene in New Moon of her and Jake in the rain as she is begging him him to not break up their friendship. Amazing scene… OH! and the scene when she is floting and the Edward vision floats up to her… visually, that is so stunning!

    mlj, I agree! The break-up scene in the rain was heart wrenching, and the image of Bella seeing Edward underwater with the motion of her hand swirling the vision of Edward into nothing was no less than stunning!

    That’s a great list of favorites! I liked your short list for Eclipse – not my favorite book, either..

    The conversation between Charlie and Alice in the kitchen was priceless! Another one of my favorites I had forgotten about.
