for some reason i always envisioned this scene where he meets Maria during midnight and a big full moon shining really white that would make their white features silver like… also now that i really think about it, all of the “images” in my head of when Jasper was in the south with Maria are during the night, the only ones during the day are when he re-meets Peter and runs away with them and when he meets little Alice, which really wouldn't count as day because is about sunset and is really cloudy and raining really hard on him standing there in the street right before going into the bar. anyway i'm a visual learner so i have many many pictures of the book in my head.
