Edward & Bella’s Wedding
Their long-awaited nuptials happen quite early on in the book, much to the delight of fans of the will-they-or-won’t-they couple. It’s a family affair that almost runs smoothly, no thanks to Jacob almost wolfing out when he learns that Bella plans to become a vampire. It’s a testosterone-fueled scene, with the boys once again facing off, much to Bella’s dismay (we bet she’s secretly happy, really — who wouldn’t want Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner fighting over her?!). The wedding, itself, has its moments, with the high point being the vows and Edward removing Bella’s borrowed garter with his teeth. If that doesn’t make it into the movie, Melissa Rosenberg will have a lot to answer for.

Calm down, ladies — we’re almost positive this whole chapter will make it into the movie. It’s the perfect opportunity to feature a topless Robert Pattinson during his impromptu celebratory skinny-dip, and it’s also the first time Edward and Bella have sex. That said, it’s not nice sex — it’s Edward at his headboard-breaking, pillow-biting best, with Bella getting a little bruising during this most monumental of moments (not to mention extremely pregnant), which might not make it into the final cut of a PG-13 movie. We’re just sayin’.

Jacob is totally fuming throughout Breaking Dawn, which is understandable, really, seeing as Edward has stolen his one true love and future mother of his pups. He narrates the second part of the book, and gives us an awesome insight into his mind. He’s a funny guy, that Jacob Black. Unfortunately, The Pack are planning to kill Bella and her freaky fast-growing unborn child, and Jake doesn’t like that AT ALL. He’s still madly in love with her, you see, so he decides to break off from the pack and form his own, with Seth and Leah Clearwater for company. This scene could be the turning point for movie Jacob — it’d gain him some new admirers, and give Taylor Lautner a chance to shine. If it doesn’t make it to the big screen, Taycob fans will probably start writing their hate mail straight away. Are you prepared for that, Summit?

This scene is where The Twilight Saga take a turn for the gruesome. It’s like something out of Alien, only not quite as surprising. Bella’s baby, Renesmee (yeah, don’t ask), is now so huge, she literally breaks out of Bella’s body, almost taking mommy’s spinal cord with her in the process. Bella’s nearly dead as a doornail before Edward realizes what he has to do to keep her alive — change her into a vampire. Like, now. So he injects his venom straight into her heart, then bites her. Many times. All over her body. It might sound hot, but it really isn’t — it’s all done in despair and with a savagery we haven’t seen from Mr. Cullen before. It’s the only scene that will push the PG-13 boundaries, but it’s one that has to be included. The imagery will be awesome.

Towards the end of the book, the Cullens are preparing to take down the Volturi, yet again, and enlist the help of several vampire covens from all around the world. It looks like it’s going to lead up to a huge battle, with casualties and bloodspill, but it doesn’t. There is one good thing to come out of an otherwise redundant section, and that’s a horde of new vampire characters. We meet the Amazon, Denali, and Irish covens, as well as the American Nomads. Some awesome characters are introduced, most notably Zafrina, Kate, and Garrett. Admittedly, they’re underutilized in the book, but a well-written script could allow them to take center stage and liven things up a bit. Believe us, it’s going to need it.

    The other vampire clans in Breaking Dawn were another thing i loved about it. And i think the speech that Garrett made should be in the movie, if not, a shorter version.

    1st the fight that takes place at the wedding has nothing to do with Bella becoming a vampire. It has everything to do with Bella confessing her plans to have sex with her vampire husband while they are on their honeymoon and Jake's revulsion and fair that Edward will kill her while having sex with her.

    2nd Edward does not change bella in a savage like display… I mean even jake says it looked like Edward was kissing her when he was biting her everywhere to seal in the venom. If something looks like a kiss how can that be described as savagery?

    I really would love to see ( along with all listed above) the scene right after the transformation from Human to vampire, when Bella and Edward first kiss and she said “You've been holding out on me” and Emmett tells them to get a room. The whole experience should be in her perspective from the clear voices, her refusing to move while in pain from the burning, and seeing herself in the mirror for the first time. All of that must be included. !! I can not wait!!

    I think they need to be very careful about not editing out to much of whats in the book. Break Dawn is very important to the readers and I believe we would all be more then disappointed to not see it come to life as we imagined it. Make it rated R if need be then edit out whatever to make a PG-13 version for all the kiddos!!

    I am looking forward to the Bella/Emmet arm wrestling. Edward falling in love with the unborn baby. Rosalie and Jacob's craziness and the last scene has to be where Edward can FINALLY read Bella's mind……

    I just love all the scenes when Bella is a newborn because you finally get to see what being a Cullen is truly like. Bella has the aching thirst for human blood and she finally gets to be coordinated enough to be considered beyond graceful. But the arm wrestling scene would be funny, but I can't remember what book Edward suggests that she wrestle him.. I think its Eclipse and if it is I hope they include it into the movie so people know what the heck is going on.

    I think you forget the “fights” from rosaly and jacob. I read the book, and i love theire fights before and after renesme be born. I think the movie would lost a bit if the jokes that
    jacob says to rosaly aren´t in the movie.

    When Bella sees her new vampire face for the first time. I also hope they show how much more confident she is after becoming a vampire (less fragile).

    I hope that was just a typo…in the book it is jacob that has the “watered down version” of Edward’s agony, jacob could never have stronger feelings for Bella than Edward!

    Thank you for setting that straight…I hate it when the story gets screwed up even in the movies. I love the movies but they are almost another entity all their own because of all the changes. It is kinda a fine line that keeps them conntected.

    YES that one is very important!! They have built Jacob up in the movies even more than the book so I would really love the personal satisfaction of him being knocked down to were he belongs…for me it will be sweet revenge

    YES! Bella letting her full vampire temper loose on Jacob! Edward must have been so delighted! And yes, I’ve noticed that the Jacob in the movies has been “built up” in importance more than even the books, just like you said. Edward’s character seems lesser and that’s not right–he is the main hero. So, oh, yeah, let’s see Bella hissing and snarling and stalking that naughty wolf who snuck in and imprinted on Nessie. Okay, he didn’t know it was gonna happen, but still…..

    Of course I loved Eclipse but I have to say I was a little dissappointed because I felt like they really played down Edwards character and Bellas bond with Edward. They made her kinda non chanlant about it to me. Like the (yuck) B/J kiss in the book she was horrified about what that would do to Edward and in the movie it was like oh well no biggy. Though the good parts of the movie was great I feel like they made alot of mistakes with Bella and Edwards relationship in the movie.
    I know since they like to change things up so much in the movies I have a change for them, when she attacks J let her break his shoulder in the movie instead of Seth’s LOL that would be great!! I think I would have to cheer really loud if that happened!

    There is no need to say feathers as they could not put the title BREAKING DAWN on the movie without feathers being present! No really there is somany little important details in the book there is no way they can fit them all in even in 2 movies. It will really be hit and miss on which parts they put in that is important to us. Like the armwrestling it is a small detail in the book but a huge detail to the “real” fans. The Twi Hards! It will be interesting to see what they feel is important.
    As long as they stay close to Edward and Bellas relationship, keep J in his place in this one and give us a little more skin (and a little is all we can hope for out of them) they will be tied for the number 1 movies ever made in the history of movies!
    But a little more lovin and I don't see how even they could screw these 2 up!

    well I have read all the books 2 or 3 times and wouldn’t change any of these scenes. My questions is that Ms. Myers needs to write a book showing us what happens with Jacob and Renessmee as she is growing and there relationship
