Oh wow! I love Bella’s face looking at the bed. Lol! The hair on baby Renesmee! Aw! I love that scene when Edward ‘hears’ the baby. They did a great job with sick/pregnant Bella. Wow.

these pictures are making me want to see it for a 3rd time!

  • Twiheart

And she was even likeable, wonder of wonders, lol.

  • Twiheart

Beautiful, Miranda.  Did you write that?  Bella did a lot of growing up in those two years in Forks, hasn’t she, bless her heart.

  • Shalista

3rd time! I’ve seen it 5  times now and wanna go again! Can’t wait for the dvd so I can pause and go back to study sceans better.

  • Shalista

She a more of a real pars this time instead of ” I dont like bella’

  • Shalista

The only part the didnt ring quite true to me id when Edward first hears something. It seemed a little too vague to me like he has just moving his head

  • Shalista

That has been explained on Stephnies website but the venom acts as a lubricant, ect. where ever the body would have ‘natural’ fluids. In the case of the fluid you were asking about the venom combines with his DNA.

  • Shalista

Actually, Carilsle said their human blod still reside in their ’tissues’ and it was bella who said she was feeling a bit sloshy after her first hunt.
I agree that the ‘broken statue’ things was a bit corny, but it woulf fit as too why they need to burn the bodies so they can’t be put back together.
I have thought this through alot ( I love details) and agree they have no heart ( its was burned up in the transformation process)  but there must be someplace for the blood to  go to and a mechanism for it to be distributed. Nerves for a sense of touch.  Must have some form of ‘lungs’ to hold the air they breath in for scent and speaking.
My question is if they don’t sweat, need physical support, etc. do they need to wear underwear, except fot modesty purposes?

  • Shalista

Yeah, I thought right off the bat, that they could have found a prettier baby, especially sense Edward and bella and supposed to be so perfert.

  • Shalista

I really missed the Fido scene too! That was one of the things that was in my ‘must have’ list. I thought is was Jacob that grabbed Rose and threw her out the door in the birth scene.

  • Shalista

Yeah. I love the scene at end where they all waiting for the heartbeat to stop. It’s shows that they are a complete caring family, even Jacob being there is right.
I hope you all saw the scene during the credits with the Volturi. That leads into part 2 also.

  • Louise

I can’t wait for part 2 – especially just to see Bella as a vampire. Apparently the scene where Bella tries to kill Jacob when she finds out he nicknamed Renesmee ‘Nessie’ is going to be in part 2. Apparently it shows Bella throwing Jacob around (in wolf form) since she’s now a vampire and immensly strong. (I think this was in an interview with Taylor, although I’m not sure – but i did definitely read it!)

i, for one, cannot wait. :)

I don’t doubt that Rob is really courteous with Kristen in real life… he’s British after all. Plus he seems like the kind of guy who knows how to treat a lady, but the picture you’re referring to is fake. It was run a while back in an Australian magazine, I believe the same one that said that Rob was pregnant (yeah Rob, not Kristen).
PS: I posted the picture I thought it’s the one you were referring to, if it’s the wrong picture then discard my comment.

  • Abby

omg i’m going to watch it tomorrow the pictues are beutiful i saw the baby pics on facebook when she’s like 3 i mean its all so beutiful

  • cmb897_TeamRobsten=P

Besides the hair (and the large eyes) I thought the baby was a cutie. Overall I think it wasn’t too bad, but there were some funky shots.

  • Super_spend

    these stills are amazing :D

  • Twiheart

    Interesting.  Thanks.

  • Twiheart

Shalista, you are correct on Carlisle saying “tissues” instead of “system”, and my reference to Edward’s “sloshy” stomach from feeding was actually from Midnight Sun, not Twilight.  Sorry.  Bella also had a “sloshy” stomach after she hunted.

As far as I know, they don’t have the same need for their body to dispense with “waste” through sweating (or bathroom needs). They wouldn’t need underwear support, being so firm (heehee), but I do believe, as they are impeccable in their dress and cleanliness, they would shower, simply because any object existing in a dirty world would get…well, dirty, dusty, etc.    Edward may have the hunting down to a fine art, but doubt the rest of them do…messy.

I, too, love searching for details on the whys and hows of Stephenie’s vampires, which are different from the Anne Rice’s and Bram Stoker’s and the rest.    Love imagination, but still seek a form of reality within fantasty…..like you.

  • Twiheart

I thought they did a pretty good job on the baby.  Remember this infant was “aging” at an amazing speed, so would not have a typical human newborn look, although she did (as I prayed she would) look normal at the birth.    They had to CGI MacKenzie Foy’s eyes onto the child, as newborny as possible.   I loved how they did the imprinting scene, age progressing MacKenzie.   I wasn’t disappointed.

  • Rachel

    Miranda,
that is a beautiful poem. The TL movies have touch me so deeply. I though i was the only one.

  • Unlikely Twi-Hard

This was an altogether beautiful movie.  The wedding was gorgeous, the honeymoon was so classy and understated, but my favorite part was at the end when Edward is doting on his dying wife and he keeps saying you’re not gonna die, you’re not dead, and finally he says “Please coming back, Baby. Bella, please.”  Oh, that is heartbreaking.  I know that Twilight has its haters and detractors, but if that seen doesn’t get to you, then you are a scary person. I also loved the morning after when Bella is remembering the consummation and that beautiful song is playing.

  • Unlikely Twi-Hard

I know it is off topic as far as these pictures go, but I thought the characters finally looked “right”.  I would’ve like to have seen Edward sparkle on the beach, but that’s okay.  Here is my real point: is it just me, or did Alice/Ashley look drop dead, unbelievably beautiful.  I’m a big K-Stew fan, but as a guy (yes, I’m a guy) Alice was supernaturally HOT!  Really, just perfect! Thoughts?

  • TeamEC1918

Hi all! I haven’t been commenting much. I found this thing called Twitter, has anyone heard of it? Well I’m addicted lol n can’t keep up with all the sites n delicious news. But BDmovie.org is my favorite :)

  • EdwardsNana

Shalista, I understand what you are saying, but when we read the books over and over, we go in to such depth with our love and passion for this story, that a movie will never come close to covering all the parts we love.  I think Robert & Kristen nailed it because they care so much about these characters.

  • Anonymous

Exactly! The moment was special and so raw.

  • Anonymous

That was lovely. I don’t know anything about babies and pregnancy, but that look Bella gave when she saw Renesmee for the first time melted my heart….and then kept looking at her as she died.

  • Anonymous

People who haven’t read the books won’t ‘get’ what Twilight is all about. Which sucks…and creates expectations about these movies which are unrealistic such as more action…

  • Anonymous

    *cackles* with you!

  • Louise

I have to say I disagree. There’s nothing more they could have done, since the movie is shown from Bella’s point of view. Bella can’t hear what Edward is hearing, so it would be strange if we could.

  • http://twitter.com/iamboobs YASEMIN TURNER

I loved the film….but I have to say they need to work on the baby effects. It looked so fake :/

  • Shalista

I didn’t mean that we could hear what he was hearing just that it’d be a BIT more obvious that he was hearing something. It seemed more like he was just shacking his head at something she/he said. And ive seen it 5X now and still can’t quite get it

  • ifonly2011

My husband and I were talking about this yesterday. It was mentioned that the Cullens were supposedly like stone/marble (this was mentioned somewhere in twilight I think) and my husband was likening this to Rob’s acting!!! I know how could he ;) He commented that in twlight the nomad vamps are full of passion and emotions which they are….I explained that living amongst humans was so hard that was why the Cullens seemed emotionless at times and “hard as stone”….thats how I interpret it in which case as the saga progresses Bella (being human) in a way thaws out Edward! and all the conatations that go with it! He goes from wanting to kill her so badly to wanting her sexually and emotionally :)

  • Shalista

Yeah I LOVE that part with Edward – it is so REAL!!! He nailed it!

And then Jacob telling him hes not gonna kill him but let him live with it, as if Edward wouldnt find some other way to die.

  • Shalista

Part 2 is gonnato be fantastic. Gonna be close on which is better 1 or 2.

Can’t wait to see Bella throwing Jacob arond. Also when she first ‘jumps’ out the window and across the river and later smashing the bolder, and…. :D

  • http://twitter.com/crazychloe13 Chloe Henderson

My favourite scene is when edward hears the baby’s mind, it made me so happy and it was so cute because that is when edward starts to love her, I literally can’t wait for part 2!

  • Mirandathevampgirl

dud you just said the exact words that really needs to be said i applaud you and i love the way you said that if the birth scene doesnt pull at your heart strings  that you are a scary person. damn straight i swear to god all the negative things that i have been hearing from this movie is so disgusting and ignorant when there are  so many other worser things going on  in our world. Its very sad. People can be so cruel and cold and even clueless its scary and sad they need to grow up and get the fuck over themselves. For real bc i have had it with their ignorance and cynicalism FOR REAL THIS NEEDS TO STOP!!!! Im sorry fo ryelling but people piss me off. Anyway i m looking forward going to BD 1 for the 3rd time after a long week from school. it was nice talking to u, and keep coming on here doesnt matter if youre a boy or girl all but haters are welcome

  • I<3Southern_Gentleman

no, it’s not just you, she looked fantastic!

  • BabyGurl12

hes like holding her and it looks like he had just kissed the top of her head :)

  • micki

i cant believe the make-up job they did on kristen to make her look so suellen and dark circles under her eyes it took hours for them to get her to look that way i almost cant look at her not being pretty like she usually is im glad they get her back to pretty again after all the drama she goes through!

  • Tigersrule199573

hey nikki reed said the fido scene would exactly be in part two .. so get to sad!

  • Anonymous

hey guys…this movie was so amazing.  I have only seen it twice, but I hope to get another opportunity.  I will so be ordering it as soon as it is available.  I was not disappointed at all.  I was so moved by the wedding and honeymoon.  And the part where Edward hears the baby..I was in tears.  I was saddened by the separation of Edward and Bella while she was so sick–you could feel Edward’s pain and understand why he felt that way.  Also, the performance of Jacob when he realizes Bella is gone and runs outside to cry.  At the end when Edward has to make the decision to change her (we all know how he felt about that), the scene was so real.  When Edward was begging her to come back to him–I just loved the whole thing.   Can’t wait for vampire Bella and J.Jenks!!!!

  • Anonymous

this first part of the book was not action-packed,  it was all about the romance (finally).  It’s the next one where we’ll get alot of action.

  • Anonymous

couldn’t have said it better.  there were alot of changes on and off screen.  it seems everyone grew up a little.

  • Anonymous

i love that scene with edward and bella… hearing the baby…. and then when jacob came up the stairs….. the cuteness in their laughter together and how they were a family then….. so special…. there are no words…….so beautiful!!!

  • Aileen

i loved this too – he says ‘i thought he was like me but i was wrong he’s like you – good ”  he just hates himself   – but when he realises the baby is in fact a baby and not a monster and on top of that the baby loves Bella – then he is won.   beautifully done

  • BabyGurl12

yup thats the one i saw. i still thought i was a nice picture though haha

  • Yankees817

everything was just amazing.that part where edward heard the baby was so magical because in regular life, parents get to hear their baby’s heart beats and see them in an ultra sound but they didn’t get to do that. so when he could hear her it was just magical. and omg, when we saw bella look at the room and how messy it was the entire movie theater just laughed!! that was sooooooooooooo funny!! and that baby! that was the most beautiful baby i have ever seen!! even if she was fake, she was gorgeous!! and u really got to see rosalie and how loving she could be but also how jacob felt about her because all she wanted was that baby.overall, all of these scenes were just awesome!

  • Malc89

or tension, lol…Bill Condon did an AMAZING job with the first part, but the one thing I could have gone without is the scene where the wolves and vamps fight. I know in the second part people are going to want some huge fight scene with the volturi but it never came to a fight, the tension in my opinion was better than any fight scene and I hope Bill Condon stays true to the book.

  • ifonly2011

Me and a couple of friends had this conversation too….basically they were saying they couldn’t wait to see the big fight at the end of  the book….I pointed out that it never really gets to that, but I’m guessing they’ll have added a fight scene to the film. A stand-off with a tiny bit of action probably isn’t going to cut it for cinema goers! Although how they’ll show Bella’s shield is something to wonder about anyway!!!! I for one can’t wait!!

  • MissyL86

Loved the scene where Edward heard Renesmee but I wished that it was more like it was in the book.
