I hope your right, I know they will use CGI in the begining, but I hope they keep her at the 5 yr. old range for the movie. Nessie is almost as tall as Bella and it needs to be more like the book.

yeah, i was just telling someone ysterday.that i had a feeling any day now i was going to wake up and see a nice surprise from my fav saga, and here it all is…. Im thinking a full trailor is soon to come after! can’t wait. In fact last years stills that were released in EW were all part of the full trailor last year so, there you have it!!! So excited!

No, No, No! Everyone is saying “oh it will be a montage of previous moments!” Well yes that will be there, but thats a given. They are talking about a scene at the very end showing Jacob and Renesmee several years later. That’s why Christi Burke is one of the actresses listed as playing Renesmee. She is the teenage Renesmee. Remember, we saw this when Jacob imprinted for like two seconds.

I think they might still do the CGI in the actual movie. These are just stills and promo pictures. It would have been a snub to have a CGI Renesmee stand-in instead of having Mackenzie Foy in there. This just makes more sense promotion wise. Pretty sure they are still doing CGI in the movie. I am not worried. They have sooo much time to get it right between now and then, as compared to BD1 when they were really pushing for the November release date.

I didn’t know Christi Burke was still playing Renesmee. I thought they changed their minds, especially since she wasn’t in BD1 as an older Renesmee. They just graphically aged Mackenzie Foy. Bill mentions it on the BD1 Commentary.

Ok, so I would be lying if I said I wasnt a little sad that Renesmee in the movie is going to be so much more grown up from the book version. I think so much of the mystique of her character is in the fact that she is this little person who is so ahead of herself intellectually and has this incredible gift. Her being older in the movie would kind of throw some stuff off for me. I guess im kind of hoping there is some buildup to this age and they incorporate some of her time as a toddler as well.. Anyway…so much remains to be seen and im sure they did a good job. Renesmee is a very difficult character to translate to the big screen! By the way, everyone looks amazing and Mackenzie is an absolutely beautiful little girl!

That just doesn’t work for me i can’t resist not watching spoilers. this movie is going to be epic. I can’t wait.Bella is absolutely gorgeous, Renesmee is like the most adorable cutest gril, i’ve ver seen and Edward is just dazzling. The whole cast is beautiful. They did a really good job in hair and make-up. I hope they show us a trailer soon,(maybe the teen choice awards)

They probably will do CGI..but they did have a few Renesmee’s on set for this…from different ages. I remember Kristen saying…one of them accidentally peed on Kristen during an action scene. So yea there will be a few Renesmee’s but Mackenzie is the main and only one we ‘see’.
