Christina Perri Hints To A New ‘Breaking Dawn Part 2′ Song!

During a stop at the Acoustic Cafe for the radio station 96.5, Breaking Dawn Part 1 soundtrack artist Christina Perri hinted that she may be involved in the soundtrack for Breaking Dawn Part 2!

Perri ended her set with “A Thousand Years,” the hit song she wrote for Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part One.  Before jumping into the music, she recalled her experience with the film series, and writing the single. “I’m not even gonna pretend I was cool about it… I cried the whole time,” she said. “I watched the movie and I went straight home and wrote this song.”

But what she said next was the most exciting news for Twi-Hards everywhere… “I might have seen the last film (Breaking Down Part Two) too, and it’s pretty amazing,” she teased, before adding.  “I might be involved in that.  I’m not really allowed to say though… just a hint.”  And with the bomb dropped that Christina may be back for another round of Twilight music, she played her last song, joking  “I’m sucking at secrets today!”

I absolutely LOVED A Thousand Years!  One of my favorites on the soundtrack.   I really hope she has another song on the BD 2 soundtrack!

Christina is touring right now with Jason Mraz and will be on The Today Show on NBC tomorrow August 31st!  Maybe she’ll hint some more.  ;)

So far, Passion Pit is the only artist announced on the Breaking Dawn Part 2 soundtrack.

    A Thousand Years was my absolute favorite song on ALL the sound tracks of the Twilight movies. I certainly hope to hear Christina again on Breaking Dawn Part 2

    There are some songs that everytime you hear them you remember the first time that you heard them…A Thousand Years will forever be Bella and Edwards wedding song.

    When I heard “A Thousand Years” I had told my husband that if were we getting married now, this would have been our wedding song. So beautiful! I’m sure whatever she would do for BD2 would be just as great!
