Breaking Dawn Casting News: JD Pardo Is `Nahuel`, Confirmed By Summit
We previously reported that actor JD Pardo was rumored to play Nahuel in Breaking Dawn.
Summit Entertainment has confirmed (via Twilight Lexicon) that JD is indeed playing the part of Nahuel!
Nahuel is a human/vampire hybrid from Chile, who was raised by his Aunt, Huilen, after his mother died giving birth to him. He was brought to forks by Alice and Jasper to help their cause re: Renesmee and the Volturi.

Breaking Dawn Cast Rumor: JD Pardo As Nahuel?
Actor JD Pardo listed on his IMDb resume that he is starring as Nahuel in Breaking Dawn Part 2. However, JD is not listed on the Breaking Dawn Part 2 IMDb page, BUT apparently the resume page is handled by the actor’s representative. There is no confirmation from Summit either.
Here is Nahuel description from Twilight Wiki:
Nahuel is described as an extremely handsome young Latin man with rich dark brown skin, eyes the color of warm teak, and extremely attractive features. He wears his black hair in a braid past his shoulders.
We previously posted other potential actors to play Nahuel and also thought maybe Amadou Ly when he was announced as a supporting cast, but he’s listed as Henry (uncredited) on the BD Part 2 IMBd page. Who is Henry by the way?
Is JD easy on the eyes or what?? NICE! I like him!

Who Will Play Nahuel in Breaking Dawn?
With the Breaking Dawn casting of the covens and nomads recently announced, we’re still left wondering…..Who will play Nahuel? The rumor of Drew Roy casted as Nahuel was just that…a rumor. E! Online’s Marc Malkin interviewed Drew about the rumor here. Drew didn’t even know! So, now we have two young actors (that we know of) vying for the role of Nahuel.
Aldo Quintino website’s recently announced he has audition for the role of Nahuel.
These past few weeks have been crazy! I have some EXCITING NEWS to share with you guys: Last week I auditioned for the role of Nahuel in the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Movie!! I’ve gotten so much support from my fans, with all the videos and pictures you guys have done. It’s crazy! You guys rock. What do you guys think? Aldo or Raj? Or someone else? They are both extremely handsome, but I could picture Aldo as Nahuel. BUT they are not the only ones auditioning for Nahuel! It could be someone completely different!

Two New Rumored Breaking Dawn Cast Members?
IMDb has listed two new ‘rumored’ cast members to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. Drew Roy is rumored to play Nahuel and Guri Weinberg is listed to play Stefan. The Twilight Examiner’s Amanda Bell has information on these two rumored cast members.
The first is Drew Roy, who the site notes is “rumored” to play “Nahuel.” That character, if you can’t quite place the name, is the one which [*spoiler alert*] which comes in at the very end as proof that “Renesmee” wasn’t the only one of her kind in the world and that she would grow up to normal size like the mortal that she is. As the Twilight Saga Wiki points out, ”Nahuel is described as an extremely handsome young latin man with rich dark brown skin, eyes the color of warm teak, and extremely attractive features. He wears his black hair in braid past his shoulders.” Drew Roy is a film and TV veteran of Hannah Montana, Greek, and others, and you can check out a picture of him here.
The second is Guri Weinberg, who IMDb.com has listed as “Stefan.” “Stefan” was one of the two Romanian vampires who had a particular distaste for the “Volturi” and hoped to see them fall once and for all. Per Twilight Wiki, “He has black hair and dresses in all black.” Guri Weinberg has been in films like Munich and You Don’t Mess With The Zohan. A good photo of him is available here.

I can definitely see Guri Weinberg as Stefan. IMDb has Guri playing Stephan in Breaking Dawn Part 1 as well. I have no idea when they will cut to Part 2, but why would Stefan be in Part 1?
As for Drew Roy, he is very handsome and I’m sure he is a talented actor, but I can’t picture him as Nahuel.
