David Cronenberg’s Maps to the Stars received multiple buyers at Cannes .

eOne has closed multiple deals on David Cronenberg’s new thriller Maps to the Stars, starring Mia Wasikowska, Julianne Moore, Robert Pattinson and John Cusack.

Production is scheduled to kick off on July 8 in Toronto and Los Angeles on the ghost story that also doubles as a commentary on celebrity culture in Los Angeles. Bruce Wagner wrote the screenplay.

Robert Pattinson and director David Cronenberg rang The Opening Bell at the New York Stock Exchange!

On Tuesday, August 14, actor Robert Pattinson and writer-director David Cronenberg will visit the New York Stock Exchange and ring The Opening Bell^SM to promote Cronenberg’s latest film, COSMOPOLIS. Pattinson, aka Eric Packer, plays the lead role in the film based on the 2003 novel by Don DeLillo. COSMOPOLIS premieres in Manhattan on August 13th,opens in New York and L.A. on August 17th and nationwide on August 24th.
