Julia Jones Interview With Next Movie!
Next Movie interviewed Julia Jones (Leah Clearwater/Wolf Pack) about working with the Wolf Pack while filming Eclipse and Breaking Dawn!
You might think you understand the plight of a woman in traditionally male-dominated fields — but none of them have anything onJulia Jones.
The actress and model joined “The Twilight Saga” in “Eclipse” as Leah Clearwater, the first (and only) female werewolf in the history of the Quileute tribe. Jones tells NextMovie exclusively in a pre-”Breaking Dawn” chat what it’s like to infiltrate the boys’ club.
“I felt so privy to their conversations, they literally stopped censoring themselves around me,” Jones says of Taylor Lautner, Boo Boo Stewart and the rest. “At a certain point… they said, ‘We’re just not going to try to clean this up at all for you.’
“It’s mostly fun and it’s a little bit sometimes like… you want to puke. [Laughs] But for the most part, it’s really wonderful.”
Jones admits her boyfriend at the time was concerned by her in-depth view of the unfiltered male mind.
“On this movie, I kind of got to a place where I felt like I… know how to think like a guy,” she explains. “I may have blocked most of it, but it is intricate and complicated and it’s a whole thing that goes on with boys, especially at bars. I don’t know if I want to know.

ACK! Poor Julia! LOL! I don’t know if I want to know either!

Taylor Lautner Featured In VMAN Magazine!
VMAN 23 from V Magazine on Vimeo.
Taylor Lautner is the featured cover story in the fall issue of VMAN magazine! Check out the cover, some outtakes from the magazine and the video! MTV’s Hollywood Crush has part of the article with Taylor in VMAN!
Opening up about what it was like to be so immersed in the “Twilight” world, he tells VMAN that it was his fellow cast members who made it all okay.
“It was really helpful that all of us were going through the same thing at the same time,” he said. “I think if we didn’t have that sort of relationship it would have been tough. It would have felt pretty lonely. Because when you’re filming for these ‘Breaking Dawn’ movies—we were filming for seven months—and if you’re there alone the whole time, even with the cast members, like on a day off, or on weekends, you’d go nuts.”
But Taylor also credits the movies with giving him a chance to grow up, get out there and see the world. Especially since, before he became Jacob Black, he’d kind of never been anywhere!
“I hadn’t explored much besides Michigan and California,” he said of his pre-”Twilight” years. Obviously, that’s changed. But he also points out that promoting the films doesn’t leave much time for local exploring: “When I’m traveling the world promoting the films, I say I am on vacation, but its not really true, I guess—because when I go to a beautiful city I spend the whole time in a hotel room and then I’m back on a plane to the next place.”
In fact, we get the sense that Taylor’s still a little bewildered by the whole celebrity experience: the jetsetting, the whirlwind schedule, the crazed fans. But when it comes to the way fans react to him (we’re looking at you, Team Jacob), he’s quick to deflect any responsibility.
“It’s definitely these characters we’re playing. They are in love with Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black. I mean, they feel like they know them. We’re just lucky enough to be playing them. But I definitely think it’s the characters.”
I do love the characters, but I think I love the actors more!
This issue of VMAN with Taylor on the cover will be on newsstands September 1st!

Summit Takes Legal Action In ‘Breaking Dawn’ Leaked Photos
Summit Entertainment issued a statement in a press release on August 1st seeking legal action against the person(s) responsible for the Breaking Dawn leaked photos back in March.
From MTV:
In the release, the studio said the March leak came from the town of Posadas in northern Argentina, but since there may be more people involved, the investigation is still ongoing. Specifically, Summit is identifying Daiana Santia as allegedly being involved in the group that stole the images and footage. Civil action has been filed in the U.S. and Argentina, while criminal action has also been filed in Argentina. The images released were from Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward’s (Pattinson) honeymoon scene and some of the final shots of the flick when Bella transforms into a vampire.
When MTV News caught up with Pattinson shortly after the incident occurred, he was obviously very annoyed by the whole situation. “It’s just ridiculous. I literally can’t believe that it happened,” he said. “I want the ‘Twilight’ troops to mobilize, all the good fans, and find out who these little sh–s are and just hack into their computers and destroy them. … I’m being genuinely serious, ‘Twilight’ fans.”
Summit hired law firm Keats McFarland & Wilson LLP to search four continents (North America, South America, Europe and Australia) to find the people behind what director Bill Condon called a “deeply upsetting” experience. Summit Executive Vice President David C. Friedman released a statement in the press release about the situation, saying that a strong fan community should not result in property theft.
“While we very much appreciate the legions of committed fans of the franchise and encourage them to create community online, we cannot ignore that property was stolen,” he said. “It is not fair to the majority of fans that want to see the final chapter of the ‘Twilight Saga’ film franchise fully realized by the filmmaker and dedicated cast and crew to have these images out and available on the Internet.”
In the earlier MTV News interview, Pattinson said the people involved in the incident could not even be considered fans. “It’s raw footage; it’s not even what people are going to see,” he said “Why do this maliciously? You’re not a fan. You’re just a di–.”
Press release:
“In an action that further communicates that those who steal images, video and other intellectual property will be identified and prosecuted globally, Summit Entertainment communicated today that it has identified the principal hacker who earlier this year stole unreleased materials from THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN which were then distributed on the internet.”
“Civil actions in the United States and Argentina name Daiana Santia, along with others, as being involved in stealing photographs, unfinished images and video from both parts of the yet to be released THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN which first appeared on the internet of March 31 of this year. Criminal action in Argentina has also been filed.”
“The investigation, which utilized the services of Kroll Inc. and the law firm of Keats McFarland & Wilson LLP, spanned four continents (North America, South America, Europe and Australia) and has led to the town of Posadas in northern Argentina. It is believed that others may also be involved in the crime and thus the investigation is on-going.”
“While we very much appreciate the legions of committed fans of the franchise and encourage them to create community online, we cannot ignore that property was stolen,” said David C. Friedman, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Summit Entertainment. “It is not fair to the majority of fans that want to see the final chapter of the TWILIGHT SAGA film franchise fully realized by the filmmaker and dedicated cast and crew to have these images out and available on the Internet.”
Civil and criminal actions! What are your thoughts on the leaked photos and Summit’s legal actions?
