A Peek at the Storyboards for ‘Breaking Dawn Part 2′

The French Twilight website discovered an Easter egg on the DVD/Blu Ray which contained glimpses of the storyboard of Breaking Dawn Part 2!!

The scenes highlighted in these storyboard sections include what appears to be a hunting scene with “Bella” (Kristen Stewart) as well as her big arm-wrestling scene with “Emmett” (Kellan Lutz). In the hunting scene storyboard frames, it looks like she’s thrown off course by the presence of a rock climber rather than a fisherman, as in the book.

Hello Twihards!

Greetings from Los Angeles, where we’re hard at work on BREAKING DAWN, PART TWO. It’s truly crazy to think that it’s been a year since we wrapped production in Vancouver, since for those of us in the editing room the work has never stopped.

A film is a lot like a puzzle, with each piece – each shot, no matter how brief – needing to fit exactly with the ones around it. Our Part Two puzzle is finally coming into full view, and in a few weeks we’ll be heading back north to pick up some additional shots – the last tiny missing pieces. We’re not shooting any new scenes or dialogue, just some technical work with some of our cast and stunt actors.

I am really looking forward to being back on set with some of the friends I’ve made on my Twilight journey, like the great Guillermo Navarro, our cinematographer, and his crew. And yes, Rob and Kristen will be there too, to pop in those gold contacts one last time…

I’m excited to report that before too long we’ll have another trailer for you to decode. And wait until you see the first posters — they’re unlike any “Twilight” images you’ve seen before. And then November 16th will be upon us and the final film will be yours!

Until then, have a very happy spring, and I’ll check back in with you soon.

10 Second ‘Breaking Dawn Part 2′ Teaser Trailer to debut online March 20th

Let’s hope so!! The French Twilight Facebook page announced they will be debuting a 10 second teaser trailer for Breaking Dawn Part 2 on March 20th and the full trailer on March 26th. Also Breaking Dawn Part 2 trailer will debut with The Hunger Games.

The queen bee has spoken! Stephenie Meyer has posted massive updates on all of her current projects.

On Breaking Dawn 2:

Right now Breaking Dawn 2 is being edited and having special effects added. Still a ways to go with some very complicated effects; we’re doing some things we’ve never done before. I’ve gotten to see a few scenes so far, and everything is so cool. Bill Condon has such a gift. I was there, I saw everything get filmed, yet I’m still always surprised at how he’s able to put it together into something that is more than the sum of its parts.

I’m looking forward to the Breaking Dawn 1 DVD coming out this week. I actually have no idea what all is on it, and I’ve got my fingers crossed for some of my favorite scenes that didn’t make it into the movie.

I look forward to seeing some of you in the upcoming months as publicity for Breaking Dawn 2 starts up. It feels so weird to think it’s all coming to an end! Happy in some ways, depressing in others. The saddest part for me is that the next premiere is the last time I’ll get to see you guys all together. It’s something I always look forward to, even though it’s frenzied and I don’t really get a chance to talk to anybody. I’ll just tell myself that a couple of you will show up for The Host premiere so that I don’t get too depressed about finality and goodbyes. It’s been quite a ride, hasn’t it? Thanks for being there with me through all of this. It wouldn’t have been any fun without you. See, now I’m getting maudlin. Better call it quits before I start crying.
