You Can Now Buy Bella’s Wedding Dress from Breaking Dawn!
You can buy the beautiful dress that Bella wore in her wedding as seen in Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1!
Alfred Angelo is selling pitch-perfect replicas of the Carolina Herrera original in ivory and white with sizes ranging from 0 to 30W.
Brides everywhere will be pleased to know that it’s available for just $799 in stores across the country.
The dress was shipped secretly to stores and was unveiled today, but it’s been in the work for months.
Under a confidentiality agreement that designer Michael Shettel jokes was “signed in blood.” The company, which used undisclosed code names for the Twilight dress project, limited its circle of principals involved to only about four people, the designer said. Mr. Shettel was also invited to the Los Angeles movie set to view the original dress.
The gown, which retails for $799 at Alfred Angelo stores nationwide, features long lace-trimmed sleeves, a Chantilly-inspired lace applique trim and a plunging cut-out illusion back. While the cinematic gown is in silk, the replica gown uses liquid satin. “The stitching on the bodice is the same, and the lace detailing is similar,” Mr. Shettel says. “There were pricing issues to try to get it down to $799. That was the biggest issue more than design issues.”

Breaking Dawn Wedding Invitation Designer Unveiled
Curious who designed and printed the gorgeous wedding invites for Breaking Dawn?
We were too, and now we know-it’s Connor Fine Engraver & Stationer, bassed out of New York City.
Director Bill Condon had a very specific vision in mind for the invite-something that wasn’t garrish, and was timeless-yet still cool.
“We were contacted because Bill was looking for an invitation that felt like Tiffany’s, but was cooler,” said Justin Felber, co-founder of Connor. “From the get-go, the film team wanted classic but not over the top — just timeless and suited to the two characters. We provided dozens of samples and eventually they came back to us with the design that they felt most captured the tone of the wedding.”
Because the director wanted NO gold, a soft, shimmery silver was chosen for the invite’s lettering and custom accents. Each invitation was hand-engraved on a steel plate and then stamped individually by hand into 100% cotton paper.
Reminds me of the admirable heritage movement in fashion right now. Nice job to the whole team, including Prop Master Mike Sabo and Production Designer Richard Sherman!

Artist Ashley Longshore Paintings in ‘Breaking Dawn Part 1′!
Artist Ashley Longshore has a few of her beautiful paintings that can be seen in Breaking Dawn Part 1! Ashley painted several pieces for the Breaking Dawn set, including Luna Moth and wrought iron fence pieces seen above. She is a New Orleans based artist and very proud of her work for the film. She wanted the Twilight fans to know about her paintings that appear in Breaking Dawn!
