Tomorrow (or Today, depending on where you live) will see the announcement of the official tracklist for the Breaking Dawn Soundtrack. Wouldn’t it be rad if The Joy Formidable was on it?

    I’m not seeing it listed but I’m betting there will be a MUSE number on there.    There has yet to be a Twilight movie without at least one MUSE song.

    Yup, that struck me as odd too. Which is why, though this playlist sounds awesome, I’m very very hesitant to call it anything but wishful thinking.

    I’ve never hear of most of these acts. I loved End Tapes by The Joy Formidable because it sounded great and was theatrical, so great pick, but Christina Perri! I HATED Jar of Hearts!

    I saw this list on the other site and thought it was official. And was already freaking out over Iron&Wine being in the list. Thought, probably Edward and Bella were going to dance their first wedding dance with “Flightless Birds”, like they did at the prom.

    But I don’t think Rob will in this soundrack, because in the 1st movie I can’t imagine in which scene his song can be used. But in the 2nd movie there are Nessie scenes, so here it’s possible.

    Totaly agree !! The has to Be at lest ONE Muse Song in it :) .. I also had wished to hear Mia with My Love again when they do the Water scence at the Honeymoon .. This Song would Be just gr8 … Imagine … :)

    Oh man….if “Flightless Bird, American Mouth” is on there I would die!! Prom is still my most favorite scene and I think the song is so much of the reason why. I’ve always said that they should make their first dance at the wedding just like prom. It was so perfect.

    Can’t wait to find out what is officially on the CD!

    So thrilled to “not” see Muse on this list. Hopefully it stays that way. Very excited to see a “wedding” version of Flightless Bird. I think that plays out very nicely for those two. Sorry if I hurt feelings with my comment about Muse but I just think it is so over done and needs a break. Just because SM loves them doesn’t mean the rest of the world does.

    If you don’t want to see Muse on the Twilight soundtrack, then fine, but no need to call it “stupid soundtrack”. The Twilight soundtracks are probably one of the few best things about these movies. Btw, i learned about the existence of Muse thanks to Twilight.

    They should use Rosyln by Bon Iver for the first dance of the wedding. They used the song for when Edward told Bella he was leaving in New Moon and I’ve been in love with that song ever since.

And btw matt is a huge twilight fan and carries a pic of him and Stephanie around w him on tour to remind him of where they get fans from (all sorts of places and they appreciate every single one of them.unlike other bands that distance themselves like paramore who I love but didn’t want to be labeled a “vampire band” and MCR who said they don’t like getting stereotyped wtf?!?) So thank you Muse for staying ground, appreciating all of your fans, staying humble, and always being the ones to reach out to summit and Alex (producer) to contribute a song bc no matter how big (or unknown in the US they were when first movie came out) they always supported their #1system fan and her dreams SM! Don’t like it, play the FF button like I do w most of the songs on the soundtrack anyway but dint go insulting other peoples taste and don’t talk about what you don’t know…this is a fan site for crying out loud! Not a fan? DON’T POST HERE!

They are humble to their fans and loyal to SM for the addtl fans they got thanks to all the admiration she gave them.for inspiring twilight books n movies so don’t knock them when.they are huge fans too!

    well its confirmed – I honestly not going to judge who’s on their till i hear the songs – I am happy about some of them on there like “flighless bird” i think that so a great idea cuz the B & E dance to it twilight at the prom and i love Christina Perri  - But im am a little upset and surprised that Muse, Linken park & paramore are not on it. And i so have my fingures crossed that Rob will be on for Part 2

    There is only one that I recognize and that is American Mouth “Flightless Bird”, which I’m not even crazy about, the words to that song are just wierd and I’m sure I’m going to get a lot of flak for that statement, don’t hate me, just my opinion.  Really disappointed “Claire De Lune” didn’t make it on the soundtrack, that song really defines their relationship. 

    So what happended to Muse?  Very disappointed :(

    Don’t speak on my behalf, I am a massive Muse fan and would have loved them to be on the soundtrack. You know you love twilight or you wouldn’t be on this site. Keep vile comments to yourself and get on the Muse site instead

    love the list.  i like the idea that they have a combination of all types of music on this soundtrack.  it will better represent all of the different moods this movie will portray.  And that is what it is all about.  The music helps us feel the emotions the characters are protraying on the big screen.  When I listen to my other Twilight Soundtracks, it transports me back to when I watched the movies the first time…..love it and very excited.
