Breaking Dawn Soundtrack Newcomer Lucy Schwartz’s “Keep Me” EP Out Now

Newcomer to the Breaking Dawn Soundtrack and also a performer on some of the Breaking Dawn Concerts, Lucy Schwartz, has a newly released EP.

LUCY SCHWARTZ will perform at two stops on the upcoming THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 1 red carpet event and concert tour, which will also feature performances from Aqualung, Sleeping At Last and appearances by cast members Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Peter Facinelli and Jackson Rathbone. Schwartz joins the tour on November 10th at The Filmore in San Francisco, and on November 11th at The Rail Event Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 1 SOUNDTRACK, which also features singles from Bruno Mars and Christina Perri, will be released on November 8th. On November 14th, Lucy Schwartz and Aqualung will appear on the red carpet at the premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

SCHWARTZ TO PERFORM AT UPCOMING ‘TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN’ EVENTS

 

Los Angeles-based indie pop artist LUCY SCHWARTZ has released the six-song KEEP ME EP today, whetting appetites for her forthcoming third album, due in 2012. The release of KEEP ME follows the announcement that her track “Cold” — co-written and performed with Aqualung — will appear on the THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 1 SOUNDTRACK, due November 8^th. The KEEP ME EP is available for download from iTunes and Lucy’s website, and it is currently featured as new and noteworthy on iTunes.

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 1 SOUNDTRACK is the latest in a long succession of major film and television placements for 21-year-old Schwartz that have acquainted the world with her wise-beyond-years lyrics and rich, sweeping vocals. Prior to …BREAKING DAWN, Schwartz’s film music writing credits have included the Shrek Forever After love theme and songs for Mother & Child, Post Grad, Adam, and The Women.  Her songs have also been featured in more than a dozen hit television shows, from Grey’s Anatomy to Make it Or Break It; ER to Brothers and Sisters, and she penned the international theme song for Parenthood.

 

The KEEP ME EP is a marked lyrical and musical evolution from last year’s full length Life in Letters, an album that established Schwartz as a unique musical force, whose voice will continue to resonate for years to come.  With its haunting melodies, melancholy romantic perspective, KEEP ME provides a taste of what’s to come on LUCY SCHWARTZ’s forthcoming full length, due next year.
