Summit Entertainment has officially announced the release date for Breaking Dawn Part 2 -

Wow. November 16, 2012 is VERY far away! We were hoping for a June 2012 release :(

    Like really!!!!! I love twilght all of them. I’ve read all the books more than once, and want to see how it’s put into the movies, it is takeing way way too long to get them out……. They need to let it come out in like March or somewere around in there

    well i dont think twilight fans can wait that long i mean i know i cant i mean why wait another year i get it its the very last movie but cant you see all of the twilight fans have been waiting forever and now that they have seen breaking dawn part 1 (which by the way i LOVED) they cant wait another year for part 2 i wanted a summer release date also but i guess they do wat they want they are the people who made the twilight saga and i am happy they made it and who ever has a problem with it DEAL WITH IT!!

    i wish it would be sooner than nov, 2012. that seems to long even though i’ve already finished the book that was really good. it’s totally to long for us fans!!!

    I cant wait like another year to see part 2….they have already filmed….so what are they waiting for….They just need  to release it…along with the part 1 dvd!!!!!!

    yeh u do get that OMG i want to see the next one now feeling after each of the movies but it goes away quickly but it does come back once you find out the release date :) im so excited for it but i also know that feeling will go but will return, if you want this to be an amazing movie for the end of the sagas then they should have the time that they need to do so :) i really hope it starts with her eyes just opening again like part 1 ended so that it is like the book :)

    Holding part 2 up fer so long will only  make people loose interest… whoever is making that decision should be fired… this is totally ridiculous  for a series to be so far apart!!!!!!! New Dawn should have never been broke into 2 parts to begin with that decision was Foolish as it made many loose interest n even more will loose interest if they put off the final part!!

    I realy hope they relise part 2 soon… i dont care about any other movies comming out i dont got very often but crap if i have to wait that long i might as well wait for it to come out on DVD and save about 100 dollers so everyone in my house and friends can see it

    I agree with Kimp47633 Because not that many movies are coming out right now and They can jst get it over with by the time the other movies are getting prepared to come out! I jst sont want to have to wait until November to see a movie… and they did the same exact thing with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 they origionally said it was going to come out in November like the first one but they changed it to July 15! So maybe they will do the same with Breaking Dawn Part 2 Or atleast I hope they do!

    I was hoping that it would be released in a timely manner like they did Harry Potter. The second part came out 6 months later. Why couldn’t they do that? Not happy about a year long wait!

    Breaking dawn part 1 was amazing the wedding birth scene all but i dont like that the breaking dawn part 2 is being released all the til next november why they not doing it june thats crazy to me. they made it already so how long does it take them do the effects and fix things in the movie to make it perfect really uh I say they move the release date up to june or july.

    Ofcourse everyone wants part 2 out as soon as possible including me! But having released in November gets you excited for the last twilight and u have all year to watch the other 4 again again and then watch the final one!

    I went to the Twilight Marathon and saw the Breaking Dawn Part 1 but
    I’ve grown very impatient..I understand that  part2 has already been filmed ..Why are you taking so long? I would truly like for part 2 to come out sooner.I was very pleased with the details  included in
    part 1, although I think there could have been more, but I was happy.SUMMIT PLEASE quit doping around with the  release date to make more cash.I think
    it will bring in more money if the release date is sooner. Just think of how many times each fan went to see part 1. I know I went more then once. Please don’t leave us hanging for a year. Release in June 2012…Thank you….

    i think it should come out way sooner because if summit waits till november they will lose a lot of fans and then they also lose alot of money so ithink it should come out WAY sooner thannovember

    Who cares, I have  only seen PART of the first. I fell asleep in the theater as I took my girlfriend to see it. It’s a chic flick and I really don’t care about it but my girlfriend doesn’t mind the wait because even though she likes the movies, she isn’t the type to sit around driving people crazy complaining about release dates. Rats Ass about all of this

    I seriously hope they don’t wait until November.  People will lose the excitement for wanting part 2.  You will have to play catch up trying to remember what happened in part 1.

    my birthday is June 29th so I was sooooo happy when I was told the Breaking Dawn 2 was coming out in June. Then I found out the date was pushed back to november. That sooo sucks!!! A movie date with all my gal pals was going to be my birthday gift. Guess not!!!!!!!!!!

    Nov 16 2012 is unreasonable! Too long to wait for die hard fans. Even the 2nd part of Harry Potter was released 6 months after the first part, why can’t Breaking Dawn be the same? :(

    Waiting an entire year for the finale is ludicrist………even Harry Potter didn’t take that long! Personally I don’t know that I will go to part 2 because of them making everyone wait……….if I have to wait that long I can hold out until it’s released on cable and see it for free…….that way their whole plan of getting more money goes straight into the commode!!!

    its just the most awesome movie ive ever senn i love the series i loved breaking dawn part 1 and as ive read the book and im very excited to see the direction and actually i wanna know how the child grows up and how bella looks and everything its awesome ! but theres a very sad part to all of this that this is the last part of twilight ! i wish it could go on for a little longer !

    I think that Breaking Dawn part 2 should come out this summer 2012, or May 2012 because November 16 is VERY VERY far away and me and my mom and sister cant wait to see part 2, we are obsessed with Twilight movies, me and my family are very impatient……… WE REALLY WANNA SEE THIS MOVIE SOONER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I think its  stupid theyre waiting to release the movie until Nov…. Some Twihards dont have enough patients to wait until a year after the last release… I mean they have it filmed so why not release it already?????

    A sooner release date was very much hopeful, june would of been a great time school out and more time on people hands, november the start of the holiday season and all well people might be busy and wait to go see.. but what can we do except griep..

    I think they should release it in the summer…..they have enough time to release it then because it’s only February so they should go ahead and release it because i dont want to wait because I really want to see it!

    i agree with all the other people on who said that it is way to long of a wait for anyone!!!! fans shouldn’t have to wait that long!!! this means that wont come out until 2013 on dvd just like this one. many people are already upset because this one took forever!!!!!!!!!

    I think it is clearly insane to make part to come out in november… They have very high chances of loosing half of their viewers. I might even totaly loose interest.If its already filmed why wait longer? Make it at least come out on march 1st! Please?!
