I usually get all of my DVD’s from Target, normally their good with lots of features . The Twilight 3 disc DVD was great, NM was pretty good, but not as good as the Twilight DVD, all the Twilight deleted & extended scene’s were completed as if they were in the movie, where as in the other movie DVD’s they were not completed.

Is Target the only one with a blue ray, dvd combo? That will tick me off, walmart is right by my house and I don’t want to wait for it to ship I want to watch it at midnight

First off, I LOVE your name “VILF” haha if that means what I think it means, then that’s amazing! And I agree. It’s like New Moon all over again.
I would ask for it earlier, but my family never knows what to get me because I don’t really want anything else. So my mom was really excited when I told her I wanted the Blu Ray player, so I think she wants to give it to me on my actually birthday, just because she loves giving presents on the actual birthday. I can wait though, I guess

OK I have read through what is included in some of the DVD’s for “Twilight Breaking Dawn 1.” I am so excited, but I feel your pain. I don’t know why all the different merchants have different additions to the DVD….seems wrong.
I do enjoy the “jump to Edward” scenes………

They left them out of the commentary and just had Chris on “Twilight New Moon.” I also love Chris…………..but sorry, it just isn’t the same. It is the one thing I really look forward to on the DVD’s………… Just had to add my two cents.

I agree, it just wasn’t the same on New Moon Love the extras though..especially the making of..and unfortunately being in England I have to wait until March!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope everyone posts which bits are best

hi! i dont know if im explaining what im trying to ask too well but hopefully someone gets it

For the TARGET package, i know that the purple cover is to hold the case with the flower inside so that it(the flower) stays intact and all

but does the case with the flower hold another case that has the 2 DISC DVDs inside? (thus 3 cases in total?)
so kinda like “[{(DVD)” ([ = purple, { = flower and then (DVD) = case with DVDs)

or does the purple case/cover just hold a case with a hole and the DVDs inside?

For WALMART! the white cover is literally just a cover/case to hold the case of dvds + the exclusive extras, correct?

Looks like the expensive Target one has a 108 minutes to the film. The Walmart version has 117 minutes to the film. I guess Walmart gets the extended cut?

Eclipse only had one edition as far as special features are concerned. It seems like the only difference between the WalMart version of BD and the Target is music videos. All the other features are the same. Also of course the packaging. My choice will be based on which version has the most special features. I really hope there are extended and deleted scenes!

It’s hard to imagine ever trusting Walmart for anything; I think they’re an unbelievably unethical company, frankly. But anyhow… I just hope you all might consider buying this from another venue. If you want to know more about why, you might want to consider visiting these sites:

I dont know which one to get. If i pre-order or get it in the stores on Feb 11, will they come out with a better one? I dont see anything about extended scenes or deleted scenes. I was really hoping that we would get an unrated version of the famous”leaked honeymoon video”. We know they film it and i want it on the DVD. I will buy it anyway because Breaking Dawn is my favorite out of all of the movies so far and i can watch it again and again.

I am not as much interested in cover as content. How the heck does one know which edition has the most content, especially deleted scenes…most important to me. Are they all 2-disk or just the BluRay edition. Argh. I usually buy mine from Walmart (closest), but would be upset if Target’s had more content….WHY DO THEY DO THIS TO US???….oh, I know, $$$$$$ we need to buy them all to be sure. Sounds like greedy marketing to me. I guess I will just hold off and hear comments of those who purchased them.

all of the Blu-rays are 117 minutes, which is the theatrical runtime. if there’s an extended version it must be an exclusive somewhere that hasn’t been announced yet

Well I like the standing image , that is pretty cool, but I did not know I would have to read all the covers to figure out which one I wanted. shhhhoooo. Of well I will clammer like all the rest on Feb 11. lol. I want to take this moment to thank Stephanie Meyer for a wonderful love story and for its originality. I want to thank C. Chadwick for hiring Rob the Chemistry between those two is amazing. I would also like to thank the whole cast for such a great job bringing this story to life even though you may never get an Oscar for it, because they just dont get it. Bill Condon, you did an amazing job with the crazy material in the book, that was definately a wild ride, and Kristen , well what can I say, you are Bella. TayTay You my boy have a great presense about you, a great speaker as well. haha, If you ever get out of acting you may want to run for congress. Now Kellan, since now have a grandson with your name, (though she swears he is not named after you..lol..) I expect great things out of you.
Love to you all and stay humble, the ride you are on would test anyones resolve.

If you have to have it now *DUH* I would just go with the 2 disc special edition dvd set. And then get the special edition blu ray edition when you get your player. Most blu ray players upscale dvds to a higher quality, close to blu ray quality. Hope this helps! ☺

I’m just excited they are releasing it in February. I’ve been worried about how I’d get my fix once it left theaters, and I didn’t want to have to wait until summer. I wonder if there is a way to set it up to play the honeymoon scene over and over and over (you get the idea)…..
