I think she is pretty… she can pass as Rob’s daughter with the hair color, face shape, kind of in the factions, but she doesn’t look like a grown up Mackenzie IMO…

Janelle is gorgeous, but her hair color is too dark and I also noticed that she was in Baton Rouge WAY too long for even just a couple scenes let alone for just a Jacob/Nessie future scene so I don’t think she’s playing adult Nessie. Christie is fine with me. Her hair color and length are perfect in that small pic. I think we need to remember how different everyone looks once the hair/makeup team gets hold of them. Plus I think she looks plenty like an adult Nessie in the smaller pic above. Not so much in the larger one, but she looks enough like Mackenzie in the smaller one that I’m satisfied since its only for one scene maybe two at the most.

Does it really matter??

Whoever they cast will not make a huge impact on the movie. Fans are going to either hate it or love it no matter who it is. This is not a guarantee that the flash forward will even make the actual movie. We can’t get our undies in a bundle over speculation and hear say.

We need to remember that whatever they do or whoever they get, we as true Twi fans support them all regardless.
This is my opinion and you can hate or like what I say, but ask yourself why you fell in love with the Twilight series. It’s the books and the mysterious love between Edward and Bella and we can walk thru the four books and experience and relate to their love for each other.
Everything and everyone else is just second in line to them!

No. This cannot be happening. This girl was my sister’s best friend for literally her whole life, then one day up and trashed her like nobodys business when they were finishing high school. This girl, whom went by a different last name then, is one of the most narcissistic, socially awkward and cruelest girls I ever met in my life. I never heard her say a single nice thing after she turned 17. She does NOT deserve any good breaks as she has burned so many people in town. She also cannot act worth Sh!t ans pretty much her entire resume is a lie- yes she can play soccer, but everything else is garbage. I really hope for everyone else’s sake that this news is false.

I agree! I’m actually super excited to see future Jake and Nessie! It seems like quite a few people haven’t been paying attention or didn’t read the whole post. Duh this isn’t in the book or during the present in the movie. Its already been rumored that not only will there be a Nessie flash forward as Jake imprints, but also a future family scene with them and all the Cullens so obviously teenage/adult Nessie would be in the future. That just seems like common sense logic and reasoning to me.

well i disagree with the majority on here. i actually think she is gorgeous and looks the part totally. i can very much see her as nessie. but its just a rumour at the moment so who knows?

I think so… she has a heart beat, she breath, blood runs through her veins and she half human… so technically she not a full Vampire with all her cells dead. But remember these are SM’s Vampire and not to be crash… but how can Edward father a child and… ****whisper*** get a standing soldier to have sex..*** whisper.***

I do agree with some people that she doesn’t really “match” like Mackenzie…
But if they’re going down the whole ‘Benjamin Button’ route with CGI’ing her face onto the younger girls, it would make sense for them to do that for the older Renesmee too – since they managed to make Brad Pitt cover an entire lifespan, they should be able to add another 5 or 6 years onto MacKenzie! XD

Is anyone else a little weirded out by the storyline? Like right now this girl is about Bella’s age in the movies now. So when Reneseme is 18, Bella and Edward are also going to be 18 (since they are immortal) so they are basically the same age as their kid. And then for Jacob to have kissed-been in love with her mom (bella) and then to be with her…CREEPY. I think the author could have done a better story line like maybe she could have finally made Rosealie have a baby and then had that kid grow up to be Jacob’s love rather than Bella’s.

Supposedly Christie is from Vancouver, so she is considered a local hire which save $$$. Some sites are saying it may be a flash forward scene that shows a progression of Renesemee from a baby to a teenager (there are now reportedly at least 4 girls of varying ages and sizes playing Renesemee. Seems like they’re trying to clarify the imprinting…that Jacob progresses from guardian- protector, friend, to the gradual falling in love with a grownup teen Resemee (you want creepy…it would be Jacob mooning over an infant because he’s “in love”. they already said Taylor was a basket case over how in the hell they were gonna have him play this out and not make him look like a certifiable pervert). Everybody is wondering why no pics of Taylor…I guess he did come on the same plane as RP and KS. Bronson, Alex and Kiowa have been tweeting how they’ve been freezing to death shooting in 20 degree weather (and Taylor is there with him).

honey when she Renesmee reaches the age of 6 and a half or 7 she is supossed to look like a 17 year old teen, so it’s a wise decision of summit to put that flashback, remember that Renesmee will grow very quickly and also that corny sweet thing that jacob thought when he REALLY saw Nessie and that kind of flashback that he had.

VAMPIRES are not suppose to have any live cells but apperantly i don’t think this aplies in the twilight saga ‘couse jasper(jackson) had short hair in NEW MOON and then he grew it out for ECLIPSE and STEPHANIE didn’t object so i think I think all of them can grow their hair out,or maybe they didn’t pay much attention to jackson’s hair at that moment.ALL I KNOW IS THAT NESSIE HAVES SOME LIVE CELLS SO THOSE ARE THE ONE WHO MAKE HER AND HER HAIR GROW.I think the hair cells are ALWAYS ALIVE but the one who alows her to grow dies when she reaches her teenege years(or young adut years) .

just a reminder, nessie never stops growing. its just that the rate of growing is decreasing like a percentage. it will never reach zero but will seem like she isnt growing anymore. so i think that changes can still be made to her body like a human.

More of Hollywood taking creative license and adding to what is already a perfect story.  I hate it when they do this kind of crap! All I can say is they better not venture too far from the original book like they did with the first movie, Twilight, or your going to have a LOT of pissed off fans!

There is no teenage Renesmee in the book Breaking Dawn.It actually states that Renesmee will not  age beyond 7yrs physically. This is essential to the story as it leaves Jacob to live forever as well. Since he stops aging when he imprints until she reaches his age.
Creating a teenage  Renesmee ruins that entirely & in turn RUINS THE STORY!!
