    I really hope this is the scene in the cottage where Bella goes: “We’ll tell Alice I ran straight to the clothes, we’re going to lie” I love that scene!

    Probably. But that’s what is wrong with being literal. Alice could have come in and changed her. It’s the literalness of Condon’s Breaking Dawn and the removal of all peotry and seduction that made it so horrible for me and people in my theatre were laughing all the way through it. Even I laughed.

    I thought she didn’t go into the closet until the morning and they were preparing to leave for the main house…..

    This is probably the scene where Alice gives Bella her HUGE closet for her birthday but Bella refuses Alice dosen’t care then she leaves to go hunting with Jasper Edward and Bella are covering about what Alice did and then Edward pulls Bella closer to him and they make out in the closet… The next day they wake up and head to the main to see Renesemee…

    In the book — as I recall but need to re-read — he carried her through the cottage showing her every room. He told her that was the closet and and Alice wanted her to see it. She said they were going to lie and they started…ahem…gettin’ busy! They did not even make it to the bed. They looked at the closet the next morning.

    That’s what I meant. She wouldn’t be in the blue dress because it had long been removed….with help. They didn’t venture into the closet until it was time to head back to the main house.

    You’re right…that’s when she tells Edward that they were going to lie to Alice about how excited she was to see her closet. Loved that part….
